She shared this during the "Startup Continent" panel, moderated by Shaekou Allieu, at a summit organized by Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the UN Security Council, UNDP, Forbes Impact Lab, and timbuktoo Africa. I had the opportunity to attend #MostradosFundosEuropeus in #AlfândegadaFé: an event that truly exemplifies how well-structured initiatives can provide a comprehensive perspective and direct insight into the meaningful impact that #EuropeanFunds, through the projects they support, have on our economy and society. Without a doubt, moments like these — featuring presentations, debates, and networking — are essential for breaking down bottlenecks and demystifying European Funds. These spaces are crucial to fostering closer connections between businesses, citizens, and institutions, aiming to improve quality of life, boost economic competitiveness, and create new opportunities. On top of that, events like the Mostra de Fundos challenge us to think about the present and future of the critical issues currently facing #EU: 📌 How can we address global exogenous challenges? 📌 How can we build a Europe that is more competitive, inclusive, fair, innovative, and a technological leader? The answer is still unfolding, but without a doubt, this is an important contribution to paving the way forward for our future.
