Tʜʀᴏᴡʙᴀᴄᴋ: Nᴏᴏꜱᴡᴀʀᴇ ᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ Eᴜʀᴏᴘᴇᴀɴ Rᴏʙᴏᴛɪᴄꜱ Fᴏʀᴜᴍ 2024   This month, MARS consortium partner Noosware BV, represented by project manager Stratos ARAMPATZIS was at the #ERF2024 and successfully promoted our #MARSproject by meeting people with different profiles like end-users, researchers and technology producers in the field of #AI and #robotics. 🤖   Besides participating at several workshops focused on #sustainability challenges and on sustainability leadership focused on #manufacturing, Stratos also had the opportunity to co-chair the Renault Champion Entrepreneurship Award and had a fruitful discussion about MARS with the award winners Isochronic AG.   😎 Insights that are valuable for our project are that people are specifically interested in: ◾ the environmental footprint calculations of the production process ◾ making use of the future MARS platform ◾ potential follow-up projects of MARS   Stay tuned for new events we are planning to take part at in and visit our website to get the full overview on the upcoming events: mars-horizon.eu 🙌

🚀 Exciting News! Participated in the Avishkar Research Project Competition | December 2023 Thrilled to share that I took part in the Avishkar Research Project Competition with two of my teammates . Our project focused on developing a state-of-the-art Robot Navigation System, pushing the boundaries of precision, robust obstacle avoidance, and efficient pathfinding. 🤖 Key Achievements: 🌐 Precise Line Following: Engineered a system that demonstrated exceptional precision in following predefined paths, a crucial step towards reliable autonomous navigation. 🚧 Robust Obstacle Avoidance: Implemented advanced algorithms ensuring our robot navigated around obstacles seamlessly, prioritizing safety and efficiency. 🗺️ Efficient Pathfinding: Developed strategies for optimal pathfinding, enhancing the robot's ability to plan routes efficiently in various environments. This project was a journey of discovery and innovation, deepening my expertise in robotics, artificial intelligence, and algorithmic design. Recently, our co-founder and CEO, Merritt Jenkins had a fun conversation discussing Kodama's technology improving forest management operations that mitigate catastrophic wildfire and promote forest ecosystem health. He also spoke to the company's namesake, which has roots in Japanese culture. "After doing a lot of research, I chose [Kodama] because it has the meaning of "tree spirit." It fits our philosophy that there are trees that can be cut down, but there are also trees that should be left alone." (Jenkins, translated from its original text in Japanese).

🚀 𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗟𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗼𝗷𝗮: 𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀! 🚀 This past week, ARME members gathered in La Rioja for our bi-monthly meeting.  🌐 This meeting 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝘃𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and innovation in Spain. I´d like to add that 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 8 companies came together to form this association, which now boasts 𝟯𝟲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀. This growth makes us 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 to keep working for the future of this industry in our country. euROBIN project 1st #Coopetition Announcement! 25-28 Nov 2024, Nancy, France (after #Humanoids2024) an European Robotics League Competition. The euROBIN network proposes the novel concept of #robot cooperative competition focused on the three main application domains defined in the robotics roadmap of Horizon Europe: • Robotic #manufacturing for a #circulareconomy • Personal robots for enhanced #qualityoflife and well-being • Outdoor robots for #sustainable #communities Each application domain correspond to one coopetition league. euROBIN’s cooperative competitions are based on a scoring system that gives credit to a team for its own achievements in executing tasks and for the successful usage by other teams of modules developed by the team. The latter approach promotes cooperation, effectively encouraging module #transferability and #reusability. Teams from any institution or multi-institution, including institutions external to the project #consortium, are invited to apply to participate in this exciting robot competition.
