Globally, about 80% of cattle suffer from tick infestations, resulting in significant challenges for their health and productivity. Tick-borne illnesses pose a considerable burden in Sub-Saharan Africa, resulting in substantial economic losses within the livestock industry. Dr.Benson Ngari at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), discusses our initiative focused on researching Tickborne Hemoparasites in Nandi County.
