Advertisement Asia, the world’s largest textile and garment manufacturer and exporter, produces nearly 60% of global exports, with many leading brands outsourcing their manufacturing to this region. In response to the EU Textile Strategy 2030, many manufacturers in Asia, particularly in South and Southeast Asia, have increasingly been exploring cost-effective and sustainable technologies to modernise their operations and boost their competitiveness, ensuring they align with the EU legislations. To support the aspirations of these local manufacturers, ITMA Asia returns to Singapore after 20 years, in collaboration with CITME from China. Owned by some of the industry’s most influential textile machinery associations and well supported by major textile organisations, ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025 is poised to be the leading textile technology exhibition in Asia next year. #Textiles #Innovation #Sustainability #China #Denmark #IndustryLeadership How Far Ahead is China’s Textile Industry Compared to Denmark’s in 2024? Reverse learning compared to 30 years ago - now learn from China. China’s textile industry leads ahead of Denmark’s in scale, technology, and sustainability. With advanced automation, AI-driven quality control, and cutting-edge green innovations like waterless dyeing and recycled materials, China is setting new global benchmarks for efficiency and eco-conscious production. Its vast resources and R&D investments make these advancements possible on an unparalleled scale. Denmark excels in design, sustainability, and niche markets. Renowned for eco-friendly practices and high-quality craftsmanship, it prioritizes creativity and ethics very high, just like in China. In summary, China dominates in both technological innovation and large-scale sustainable manufacturing, while Denmark leads in premium, design-focused markets. Together, they offer complementary strengths to the textile industry’s future. Munkholm & Zhang Consulting can be your booths on the ground, be welcome to contact me for further. Singapore welcomes the world of textile technology Some textile professionals might recall the two ITMA Asia exhibitions held in Singapore in 2001 and 2005. Now, the industry is preparing to return to the visitor-friendly island state for ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, from October 28 to 31. And it looks to be a great choice, judging by the fact that exhibition space is already very nearly sold out! Singapore is ideally located, as a gateway to the huge textile manufacturing regions of Asia, as well as the Middle East. Organizers are expecting a surge of interest from textile and garment producers eager to check out the latest technology developments from the world’s leading suppliers of machines and systems. The 600 exhibitors are expected to attract an audience of over 30,000 potential investors. 24 Swiss companies will welcome visitors to see their innovations in Singapore: - AGM Jactex - Autefa Solution Switzerland - Benninger - Bluesign Technologies - Convacc - G.
