Trust and Reputation 🤝 One (well two) of the values I hold highest is reputation and credibility, and it’s always a pleasure to work with others who share that mindset. In industries like ours, trust is everything. While I often see posts about those who can’t be trusted in the property sector, this isn’t one of them. Recently, I connected with Flora Russo, and because of mutual connections, reputation and shared trust, we decided to skip the formalities of NDAs and NCAs to focus on building a meaningful business relationship. Yesterday, we successfully closed our first deal together, with fees split and paid seamlessly. Now, we’re already looking to collaborate on a second deal, solidifying a foundation for even more future success 🙂. Unfortunately, I can’t take this approach with everyone, as past experiences with a few bad apples have made me cautious. But when you find those who value integrity and understand the importance of trust, it’s amazing what you can accomplish together. Here’s to more partnerships built on mutual respect and shared goals!

My theme for the year—and now that I think about it, my personal brand—is KINDNESS. It’s so important to me. When I think about the colleagues I’ve worked with over the years, one truth stands out: kindness is an underrated superpower. Some of the most impactful professional relationships I’ve had weren’t just built on shared goals or mutual respect—they were rooted in kindness. And yes, kindness can (and often does) coexist with fierceness. Whether it’s navigating a challenging project, or having a tough conversation, the people who made the biggest difference in my career weren’t just skilled or brilliant—they were kind. They listened, uplifted, and collaborated in a way that made the work not just productive, but meaningful. It’s a simple idea, but not always easy to practice. Being kind doesn’t mean avoiding hard truths or difficult feedback. It means approaching every interaction with empathy, clarity, and a genuine respect for others. As I move forward in my career, I’m committing to continuing to lead with kindness. It’s a reminder for myself, and maybe for others, that being someone people want to work with is just as important as being someone people need to work with. What about you?
