#|• Rescue Breaths •|# If you are a trained rescuer and willing to deliver rescue breaths : •| Open the victim’s airway by tilting the head backward. •| Pinch the nose to prevent air from leaking out. •| Take a regular breath and make a seal over the victim’s mouth. using a disposable resuscitation face shield, if available. •| Breathe into the victim’s mouth for approximately one second; do not overinflate the victim’s lungs, as this could cause air to go intothe stomach and the victim to vomit •| Deliver two rescue breath attempts in total, then immediately resume chest compressions. If two trained rescuers are present, one can perform a chest compressions, and the other delivers rescue breaths, still at a ratio of thirty chest compressions to two rescue breaths. This two person technique minimizes any interruptions in chest compressions. •| Continue providing CPR (either chest compressions only, or chest compressions with rescue breaths) until the arrival of a defibrillator or emergency medical help. If a defibrillator is available, attach it to the victim. •| When EMS arrives, they may ask you to assist by continuing the chest compressions while they perform advanced medical interventions. The victim may vomit when you are performing CPR. •| If this happens, don't panic. It does not mean that you’ve done anything incorrectly. •••••• As we saw in the previoussection, an unconscious victim can lose control of his stomach contents.and may vomit. If the victim vomits when you are performing CPR, turn him onto his side to allow the vomit to drain away from the airway. Then turn himback and resume CPR as quickly as possible. ============| #HSEUpdate #Profesional #EHS #SHE #HSE #SharingKnowledge #innovation #culture #behaviour #management #Project #Construction #Factory #strategy #business #startups #networking #letsconnect #Emergencyrespons #CPR #Rescue #FirstAid •••••• #OpenToWork #lowongankerja #lowonganpekerjaan #ProjectManagement #ConstructionManagement #HRD #LinkedIn #asiapasifik

"Alberta's new EOI system reshapes the path to provincial nomination, offering skilled workers fresh opportunities in key sectors like healthcare, tech, and tourism." New EOI System: Alberta launched a new Expression of Interest (EOI) system for AAIP worker streams on September 30. How to Apply: Candidates submit a Worker EOI via the AAIP portal by completing an online form, with no fee to apply. Ranking System: Applicants are ranked based on points for education, language skills, work experience (more points for Alberta experience), age, and family connections. Selection: Higher-ranking candidates are more likely to receive provincial nomination, with invitations sent via email. Draws Begin: Alberta will start selecting candidates in mid to late October, so no need to rush submissions. Earlier Changes: In June, Alberta limited monthly applications to manage demand and allocated 9,750 PNP nominations for 2024. Paused Stream: The Alberta Opportunity Stream was paused earlier this year due to high demand, focusing on labor shortages in key sectors like healthcare and technology. #AlbertaImmigration #ExpressionOfInterest #WorkerStreams #AAIP #ProvincialNomination #CanadaImmigration #LaborMarket #SkilledWorkers #ImmigrationUpdate

There are about 2 million Papua New Guineans living in towns and cities through out the country. Many of these people are unemployed due to lack of jobs in the formal employment sector. However, opportunities abound in the informal sector where one can create self-employment, an SME or a business where he or she can employ others to work for him or her. If you want ideas on how to create self-employment, SME or other opportunities in the informal employment sector, subscribe to my newsletter to read about it. I have just released a newsletter on livelihood activities and skills in the informal employment sector. The link to my newsletter is given below. https://lnkd.in/gSTgMScy

Some weeks ago, it was mid term holiday for primary and secondary schools in Lagos, and the week long break for most children came with assignments. While a mother was narrating her 3 year old's (and by association her own) assignment to do a project on the lifecycle of a cockroach, I couldn't hold back my laughter as we tried to make light of the whole thing. But then, I wished her well with the assignment. Students (parents inclusive) try to find away around doing assignments to avoid being punished, loosing scores and whatever comes with not submitting assignments. Adult education is quite tricky, it takes another level of responsibility to attend to assignments for trainings (regardless of whether you paid for it or not). When I found that amongst the pile of assignments I had from my EDC HR Generalist Training I would be doing a public presentation, my first response was to freeze, or was it flight?! Over analyzing was getting the better part of me and I didn't think I would get to even make an attempt. Thankfully, I've received grace and even with delayed submissions, I worked on this particular assignment! Now, I am inviting you to my presentation, first because this assignment needs me to have people in attendance and second, I believe that for every Nigerian Employee, this presentation on Building Resilience in Uncertain Economic Times: Practical Strategies for Nigerian Employees will resonate with you, and I look forward to sharing and also getting more insights from you. Do join me tomorrow Friday 15th November, 2024 on Google Meet (https://lnkd.in/d22zncax) by 7:00pm WAT prompt. Thank you! #HR #Employee #People #Workplace #Resilience #Assignment #Presentation #Lagos #Nigeria
