IT Minister Umer Saif shared promising news for Pakistani startups with global aspirations. The introduction of the BridgeStart program aims to fund 100 startups annually, providing incubation or acceleration opportunities in any of the top 40 incubators/accelerators worldwide. Drawing from the success of startups in established programs like YCombinator and 500 Startups, the initiative addresses resource challenges by offering up to Rs 5 million to qualifying startups for travel, lodging, and other expenses associated with participating in international programs. The program intends to empower Pakistani startups, fostering growth and tapping into more developed ecosystems and funding sources. #It

Last week, our SynergistEIC programme welcomed Adela Stefan, CAO at SVELTE , an #EIC and #EIB funded startup, to share her invaluable insights and journey with our first cohort of selected startups. 🌟🚀 Adela Stefan´s mission is to support SVELTE on its way to the #globalmarket by running daily operations and implementing its #EuropeanCommission funded R&D project. SVELTE reduces the need of concrete in buildings by up to 40% and it was recently featured in PwC's Top50 technologies for #NetZero Emissions. 🌍💡 During the workshop, Adela presented an in-depth overview of Svelte, taking our cohort through their journey with the #EICAccelerator and presenting the opportunities unlocked through this network.
