Work life integration is a great approach blending professional and personal responsibilities more fluidly than traditional work life balance where the two are often seen as separate and competing. Rather than trying to balance time spent at work and time spent at home work life integration encourages finding ways to meet both work and personal needs throughout the day. Prime example will be working during part of the day attend a to doctor appointments or family event then return to finish work in the afternoon. This approach is more flexible and realistic in today’s inter connected world where technology allows work to happen anywhere and any time. Work life integration allows individuals to build schedules that align more closely with their priorities leading to improved well being, less stress, and greater productivity. I am super blessed that I work for a company that has supported me in every way integrating my work and family needs and still succeed in my career and endeavors.

Since the creation of the term "work life balance", in a post COVID era, I have been saying again and again that such a term does not, and will never, exist in the real world. The following explanation is probably the best I have heard on this matter.

Moreover, societal expectations and gender roles continue to perpetuate the idea that women are primarily responsible for domestic duties. To achieve a more realistic and sustainable lifestyle, mothers must redefine success and prioritize their well-being. This may involve setting realistic goals, delegating tasks, and seeking support from partners, family, and friends. Ultimately, the pursuit of work-life balance for mothers is an ongoing challenge.
