DYK that Physicians for Informed Consent had to remove a previous post on the MMR and a quote from Cochrane Review for misquoting and lying about their conclusions on such vaccine ? But now they are coming back with even worse lies. Let’s look at the real Cochrane conclusions on MMR, not a 2012 version of such but the 2019 update of a review first published in 2005 and previously updated in 2012. It is appalling that Physicians for Informed Consent would state absence of enough patients to show how effective and safe MMR vaccines are. To make such claims is ridiculous, when we know that Cochrane Review looked at 138 studies with more than 23 million children. Fifty-one studies (10 million children) assessed how effective the vaccines were at preventing the diseases, and 87 studies (13 million children) assessed unwanted effects. In this 2020 update we have included 74 new studies published since 2012.Cochrane concluded that MMR, MMRV and MMR+V vaccines are effective in preventing the infection of children by measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox, with no evidence of an increased risk of autism or encephalitis and a small risk of febrile seizure. As seen here, again, Physicians for Informed Consent is proven to be an unreliable source of information, a source of misinformation, and, simply said, liars about both safety and efficacy of vaccines. Measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox should never kill or harm anyone, especially with the extremely safe and efficacious vaccines that exist. Did you know that a review of more than 60 MMR vaccine studies conducted for the Cochrane Library states “The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate”?
