Teaching children compassion at an early age helps shape their perspective of humanity, and that’s exactly what Jessica’s mother did. Jessica Reed, LAHSA’s Associate Director of Continuum of Care Planning, shares stories of her young mother—who had also experienced homelessness—bringing her to Skid Row to volunteer. This was Jessica’s early experience of doing good in the world, and she continues that work here at LAHSA. Thank you, Jessica!
