Q1 was a successful quarter financially for Essential Utilities, Inc. as we shared in our #earnings report. Despite our gas footprint experiencing warmer-than-normal winter weather this quarter, our net income of $265.8 million or $0.97 per share for the first quarter of 2024 compared favorably to $191.4 million or $0.72 per share reported for the first quarter of 2023 due to the sale of our district energy projects.
