#ekip exists because we believe that creativity can change the world. And the challenge is that effective support mechanisms for the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) are often lacking. Our #mission is to support and grow the CCIs by helping them innovate, protect their cultural heritage, and adopt sustainable practices. We want to create a community where creative ideas can thrive, boosting the economy and making Europe greener and more inclusive. How do we work on that? As Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth, Coordinator for ekip, from Lund University and Future by Lund puts it: ‘’We work for innovation with policy as our tool!’’. This means that ekip leverages policy-making as a strategic instrument to foster innovation within CCIs. By researching and recommending effective policies, we aim to create an environment that supports creative industries, encourages sustainable practices, and facilitates collaboration across sectors. We will be delving into that in our next posts. Stay tuned as we "ekip" Europe with the tools for a more innovative, inclusive, and sustainable future. #Innovation #Sustainability #CreativeEurope

There are several paths that your organization can take regarding DEIA: 1. Don't do it at all and risk slower growth and lackluster business results. 2. Do it half-heartedly and experiencing mixed results. 3. Commit to it in theory, but not in practice; therefore, your team learns from trial and error. 4. Commit to managing DEIA well and experience positive, sustainable business outcomes. Everybody wants to jump straight to #4 but the reality is that your team must have the right mix of knowledge, skills, and abilities in order to manage DEIA well. This is where we can help. Cut through the maze when your team understands industry best practices, employs forward-thinking strategies for success, and commits to maintaining professional credentials as a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)® or Certified Diversity Executive (CDE)®: https://lnkd.in/eWjt7xg

We’re excited to share a significant milestone: Vero is now a certified B Corp! 🌱🎉 By aligning with the global B Corp movement led by B Lab, we’re not only embracing rigorous standards of governance and transparency, but also joining a community dedicated to making businesses a force for good. This journey, which involved a year-long process of assessment and introspection, has been a source of learning as well as pride. It challenged us to examine our internal policies and practices, encouraging us to evolve into a more conscious communications consultancy in a climate-vulnerable region. Vero stands as the largest independent agency in Southeast Asia that has obtained the B Corp Certification. This accomplishment underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainable business practices and making a positive impact wherever we operate. As we stand shoulder to shoulder with over 8,500 B Corps worldwide, we are guided by principles of responsibility, transparency, and accountability in redefining the role of business in society.
