More than one project a day and 240+ in just 181 days! This is enough reason to celebrate, and here’s what made it all possible. With the first half of the year gone by, all I can think about is what we have achieved here at ABRA. The dedication of the team has shown in the form of innovation par excellence. Probably one of the biggest accomplishments for our team is that we have continuously delivered high-stakes, complex projects in record time—doing what normally would take months to complete, in a matter of weeks. 240+ successful projects in the last six months alone speak to our relentless drive, unmatched expertise and will to deliver. Amidst the hustle of projects, we took time off to celebrate our success. Here's a peek into some of the unforgettable moments that remind us why we're all in this together: Culinary Connections: From a gourmet team lunch to a heartwarming Ramadan Iftar, we savoured moments of togetherness over amazing food. Because nothing unites quite like sharing a meal! Festivals: A Journey for the Soul, Not for Show In today’s digital age, we often hear about "digital traps," where even the most aware individuals can get caught. In a way, this phenomenon traces back to ancient times, when Ravana and Marich trapped Sita. Now, we see various forms of these “arrests” – shopping traps, festival traps, and more. People, driven by desire, find themselves entangled in ways that are difficult to escape. In management terms, there are two essential skills: hard skills and soft skills. Hard skills represent technical knowledge, while soft skills encompass qualities like leadership, problem-solving, time management, teamwork, communication, and emotional intelligence. It’s said that 85% of success comes from soft skills. These are skills that go beyond work, helping us grow in every area of life. Festivals, too, should be celebrated with soft skills in mind, as they are more about our inner journey than outward displays. Traditionally, our sages designed festivals as spiritual journeys for the soul. Over time, we’ve added a layer of display and extravagance. You know what I love about the festival of #Diwali? It’s like a new year… but we have two extra months to #breathe. Because, let’s be real, doing a year-end review in December is #stressful. You feel the #pressure to hit #goals, set intentions, or make resolutions (if anyone still calls it that). But right now, with almost two months left, I can take stock of my year without any rush or pressure. What do I mean by taking "taking stock"? Getting granular while looking at each area of my life, and getting real about what's worked, and perhaps what still needs some more #nurturing. I'd rather get my reality check NOW, than wait till the last week of the year to feel like a failure. Because the truth is, I'm NOT, and you're not, either. No matter what happened this year - big wins, big losses, changes in your personal life or professional transitions and all the overwhelm that comes with it - we ARE winners. We just can't see it as clearly right now. But I have a solution for us! Please 🙏 show some #respect to our roots and let your employees enjoy their every festival with their #family and not with #laptops.
