Say Hi to Leancat Electrolyzers! As LEANCAT grows and its product portfolio evolves, we have reached an important milestone. To better serve our customers and advance our innovations, we have decided to operate as two distinct entities. LEANCAT will continue to provide cutting-edge test stations for fuel cells and electrolyzers for research applications, while the newly formed Leancat Electrolyzers will focus on innovative products for hydrogen production for industrial applications and testing hardware for electrolyzers and fuel cells. With that, we are excited to announce the restructuring of the company and the creation of LEANCAT ELECTROLYZERS s.r.o.! Leancat Electrolyzers will be led by Vladimir Matolin, who will move from his current role as CTO at LEANCAT. Both companies will operate independently, managing their own operations and sales, but will continue to collaborate closely and support each other's growth. This restructuring allows each company to specialize and innovate within its field while serving its specific market. The spin-off is scheduled to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2024. For inquiries and technical support related to Water Electrolyzers, Hydrogen Generators, and Testing Hardware, please visit the Leancat Electrolyzers webpage.

I'm proud to share a significant milestone achieved by our team and our France-based affiliate, Novacium, SAS. We have successfully demonstrated a 14% improvement in lithium-ion battery performance using Novacium's first-generation engineered SiOx material, compared to the standard 100% graphite anode batteries. This advancement comes without noticeable first-cycle degradation, marking a notable achievement in our ongoing efforts to enhance battery efficiency and longevity. This achievement was realized through rigorous testing of 18650 industrial batteries, comparing traditional graphite anodes against batteries incorporating a blend of 90% graphite and 10% Novacium's engineered SiOx material. The initial results, surpassing our expectations, validate the potential of our SiOx material in improving battery performance. Our focus at HPQ Silicon Inc. and Novacium SAS has always been to develop innovative materials that seamlessly integrate into existing battery manufacturing processes, offering a scalable, cost-effective solution for enhancing battery performance. This breakthrough is a testament to our technical expertise and aligns with our commitment to sustainable and efficient energy solutions. Using the 18650 battery model for our tests reflects our strategy to utilize well-established and reliable technologies, ensuring our advancements are compatible with current market standards while keeping an eye on future developments. I am excited about the implications of our findings for the broader battery industry, including applications in electric vehicles and portable electronics. This development is a step forward in our journey toward a sustainable energy future, and I look forward to sharing further updates as we continue our research and development efforts. I invite you to read today's release for more information on this breakthrough and our ongoing projects (link in the comments). ++++++ #batterytechnology #lithiumionbattery #quebec

NOVONIX Limited has made headlines with a new binding offtake agreement with Stellantis, securing a minimum of 86,250 tonnes and up to 115,000 tonnes of high-performance synthetic graphite material from 2026 to 2031. This significant partnership will supply Stellantis’ cell manufacturing partners in North America, positioning NOVONIX as a crucial player in the EV battery supply chain. The synthetic graphite will be produced at NOVONIX’s Riverside facility in Tennessee, with plans to meet growing demand through a new production site, supporting the North American EV industry’s push for localized battery materials. This agreement marks a major step for NOVONIX, especially as the Riverside facility is set to become North America’s first large-scale synthetic graphite production site, with commercial operations expected in 2025. NOVONIX is also progressing with plans to build a second facility with an initial 30,000 tpa capacity, expandable to 75,000 tpa, and remains in discussions with the U.S. Department of Energy for funding through the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Program. With support from a recent U.S. DOE grant and tax credits, NOVONIX is well-positioned to scale up its production to meet anticipated demand from top-tier clients like Stellantis, KORE Power, and Panasonic. Corporate Connect Research (CCR) has recently published an in-depth report on NOVONIX, highlighting the company’s competitive advantage as the only North American near-term supplier of high-grade synthetic graphite for battery production. The report also emphasizes NOVONIX’s pioneering cathode technology, which reduces waste and production costs and has recently received patent approval in Japan. CCR's analysis underscores NOVONIX's strategic positioning to capture market share as it ramps up production to fulfill high-profile contracts, reinforcing a positive outlook for investors.NOVONIX To read the report click the link below.
