Last week at the Greentech Festival in Berlin we introduced the Green Energy Career Day in cooperation with Tip Berlin Media Group and co-powered by InnoEnergy as Global Sponsor. Many of the discussions at the stand were related to green skills, and how companies and job seekers can accurately define and display them respectively. A helpful guide here is the graph released by the World Economic Forum that lists the recent growth in specific green skills on Linkedin. https://lnkd.in/gJwkM8tp At the top of this list is Climate Action Planning, which goes by different names including Environmental Resilience Coordinator. These individuals (or agencies) operate as the central organizing entity between commercial, societal and environmental stakeholders as part of their work related to climate-induced migration, damage and privation. We transformed a conventional mobile trailer into a captivating and sustainable mobile exhibition for Copenhagen Skills (CPH Skills) Denmark This innovative learning space, powered exclusively by our 2200W SOLAR ENERGY GENERATION SYSTEM; influences young people to consider vocational careers and how they can shape a more sustainable future in their chosen profession. AT THE HEART OF THIS TRANSFORMATION LIES: a) A state-of-the-art solar energy system, featuring a robust solar controller capable of supplying 3000W from the inverter. b) The LiFePO4 batteries, selected for their resilience even in extreme temperatures as low as -20 Celsius, ensure the trailer's operational efficiency during Denmark's harsh winters. c) Notably, the exhibit system's design prioritizes energy efficiency, boasting a low-power standby state drawing only 100W and an impressive 400W savings during periods of inactivity. As the trailer embarks on its educational journey, Interactive Imagination takes pride in delivering not just an exhibit but an immersive experience. OUR CHALLENGES: We battled freezing temperatures over seven days, ice-covered roof, and dry air conditions to install the solar panels, integrate the solar energy system into the existing trailer mains wiring, and install the interactive exhibits. The result is a transformative learning space to inspire younger generations toward a greener more sustainable future. Interactive Imagination's commitment to repurposing and breathing new life into a conventional trailer underscores the power of creative thinking in addressing educational and environmental challenges simultaneously. The countdown to Berlin’s inaugural Green Energy Career Day kickoff has begun. To celebrate, we are profiling some of the world of talent looking to power the transition to a cooler Earth. Today we introduce Ziad, a skilled entrepreneur and recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium (the German Federal Government’s prestigious scholarship for outstanding socially-focused individuals). We asked him why and how he's ready to power the transition: “I grew up in a place where reliable electricity was often a luxury, and this led me to developing a deep passion for green energy. I followed that passion by acquiring a Bachelor's degree in Environment and Energy, why my focus is on hydrogen fuel cells and renewable energy. One of my proudest moments to date was helping to build the first hydrogen fuel cell of its kind at a German university as part of an interdisciplinary project. I also led a project at the ITQ Makeathon in the Canary Islands, where we extended the range of an electric tractor using a hydrogen fuel cell. These experiences, plus my personal journey and academic background, mean I am now able to help those companies leading the planetary transition to a cleaner future.
