1988 Champions: Besides my background in weightlifting, many of you don’t know that I coached many sports at the high school level. Wrestling was my big thing, but I also got great coaching experience working with anything from tennis, track and field, gymnastics, soccer, volleyball and even swimming and diving. In fact, my first coaching job after graduating from college was with Swimming. I learned a lot from various publications, including this book from 1988 called “Champions”, about training and competing at the highest levels. #throwback #tbt #oldschoolweightlifting #oldschoolcoaches #backintheday #rememberwhen #oglifters
