Building Bridges: Partnering in Business with Germany Workshop in Georgia   🇬🇪 We just wrapped up the in-person introductory workshop of the "Partnering in Business with Germany" program in Georgia! 🌍💼   Moderated by Maximilian Thomsen and Dr. Kristian Kampfer, the session focused on empowering participants to craft impactful emails for reaching out to German companies to arrange B2B meetings. ✉️🤝   Participants received personalized feedback and suggestions from the Madiba team to enhance their outreach efforts, ensuring a stronger start to successful business connections with German firms. 💪🇩🇪   In addition, the participants engaged in an inspiring Fishbowl discussion, sharing insights and exchanging ideas on how to approach German companies and build long-lasting business relationships.🗣️💡   The workshop laid the groundwork for the upcoming activities and discussions, especially focusing on the Georgian group's upcoming stay in Germany. 🛫🇩🇪 This stay will provide participants with a valuable opportunity to meet potential business partners face-to-face and build lasting professional relationships. 🌟 2024 Year in Review: New Zealand Business Roundtable in China🌟 As we conclude a remarkable year, we are pleased to share the significant milestones and achievements of the New Zealand Business Roundtable in China (NZBRiC) that reflect our growing influence and commitment to advancing trade relations between New Zealand and China. 🔹 Member Growth:   We have almost tripled our membership growth since January 2023, starting from 16 members, to now having 47 members, underscoring our effectiveness in fostering valuable connections and collaboration within our business community. 🔹 New Services Launched in 2024:   This year we launched four new services, our NZBRiC Industry Forums, Quarterly NZBRiC Industry Report, Trademark Healthcheck and the CIIE Business Matching Program. 🌍 Strengthening Business Competitiveness in West Africa 🌍 From October 14th to 18th, 2024, I had the privilege of representing FEWACCI and the ECOWAS Commission at the Training of Trainers (ToT) on the Business Matchmaking Platform, held in Cotonou under the West Africa Competitiveness Program (WACOMP). This initiative, led by ECOWAS and funded by the European Union (EU), was a significant step toward tackling regional trade challenges, especially the integration of local businesses into regional value chains. The highlight of the training was the introduction of the newly developed Business Matching Platform, a cutting-edge digital tool by the International Trade Centre (ITC). Designed to foster business networking across West Africa, this platform is a game-changer for improving trade facilitation, particularly within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The platform’s automated language translation feature enables seamless communication in English, French, and Portuguese, addressing linguistic diversity in West Africa and eliminating barriers to collaboration. By facilitating cross-border communication, it enhances businesses' ability to explore export opportunities, expand their reach, and access new markets. This makes the platform a strategic asset for companies seeking to diversify their customer base and strengthen their digital presence in an increasingly competitive global market. 💡 After the training, I successfully onboarded several business owners onto the platform, equipping them to connect with other businesses and retailers across West Africa. 🎥 I was also honored to share my testimonial about my expectations for the platform’s launch, a testament to the potential it holds for transforming regional trade dynamics.
