🔙 Throwback Thursday 🔙 In 2019, Weba Chutes completed a significant project at a sinter plant in Turkey, showcasing our decades of expertise in custom-engineered transfer chutes. Project Highlights: 🔹 High-Temperature Handling: Our chutes were designed to manage sinter material at temperatures up to 700°C while minimizing material degradation that could affect furnace performance. 🔹 Homogeneous Feed: The design ensured a consistent feed to the cooling conveyor, with coarser material at the bottom and finer material on top to optimize energy efficiency. 🔹 Complex Design: The system featured a double-inlet design with dimensions of 5m x 4m and 5m x 2.5m, with precise stream control and discharge over a wide area. 🔹 Advanced Technology: We utilized discrete element modelling (DEM) software to tailor the chute design to the specific application, enhancing performance and durability.
