2024: I focused more on my health! This week, a potential client who called several weeks ago inquiring about classes finally joined us. She was nervous about starting an indoor cycling program because of previous injuries. I told her that we are not like other facilities and that the fitness experience at MARVIL FIT is centered around 20 years of fitness experience and education. In our indoor cycling classes, all bike settings are customized to the participants. Bike customizing is not about comfort, it’s about finding the right height and positioning so the hips and knees can move like they were meant to move. In our mat classes, the exercises are modified to the needs of the participants. Lastly, there are no egos here! The main objective is to help participants feel comfortable to trust the process and ENJOY their fitness experience. Trust me when I say, “Marvil Fit is not like other studios.” Not only has this new client taken a class everyday everyday since her first class, she also said, “I have never been to a fitness studio where everyone is so nice.” And, after a week of classes, this clients did not feel any pain in her hips and knees that she was afraid would develop. HEALTH | Who needs a gym? Six in 10 Americans swear they can “get all the exercise they need” without ever stepping foot inside a gym. A new study of 2,000 U.S. adults found the average person considers themselves active five times per week and exercises four times per week — and 54% said they “never” go to the gym. Since many skip the gym, they’re getting their exercise in other ways. Almost all respondents surveyed (98%) believe they can get a workout in while taking on everyday tasks.
