Seaweed is just amazing: • Seaweed food additives are widely used as gelling, thickening, and stabilizing agents. Carrageenan is used in about 80% of dairy products, while agar is a key ingredient in many desserts, jellies, and ice creams. • Seaweed extracts are found in around 15-20% of skincare products. These extracts are valued for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.  • Alginate-based wound dressings help retain moisture and promote healing, representing about 5% of the medical dressings market. • Seaweed-based fertilizers and supplements account for approximately 10% of the agricultural market. These products are used for their nutrient-rich properties, promoting plant growth and enhancing soil health. • Seaweed Biofuel Production even though remains an emerging industry, is projected to contribute up to 3% of the biofuel market in the next decade.
