Thank you LinkedIn News Asia for doing your part.❤😊 As the mental health advocate, I felt respected ,honoured and humbled when I was invited to speak at Singapore's first Mental health conference. 🏆😊 I have saved 32 people who were having suicidal thoughts. I have saved 53 people who are out of #Depression now.😇✌ I will continue to do my part and create awareness about mental health till it becomes as normal as physical health.🤜🤛 Let's do our part in removing stigma attached to mental health. 💕😊👍
Thank you Benjamin Goh for sharing the tips for mental health
To improve mental health, try this: Practicing 60 minutes of SILENCE each morning can help you stay grounded, focused & remain hopeful when your mind wants to spiral. Being silent gives us the clarity we need to calmly face challenges & uncertainty. The Sphere of Silence is broken into three segments of 30 mins, 20 mins & 10 mins each. Complete a 21-day cycle without any breaks. Ground rule is complete silence with no distractions from the outside world, no devices & a quiet spot away alone. Have a journal, a pen & a book you’ve been meaning to read ready. NEW will help you stay grounded, focused & remain hopeful: N - Nurturing Goals (First 30 mins) - 10 mins; write your short, medium & long-term goals. - 10 mins; assess your progress on the previous day’s goals. - 10 mins; note any unmet goals (especially short-term or daily goals) & assess the reasons. E - Engaging Learning & Growth (Next 20 mins) - Ground rule is to choose a book that teaches you new things & enriches your mind. - 10 mins; read a chapter or part of your book - 10 mins; write down a summary of what you just read, by hand. W - Weighing & Reflecting (Final 10 mins) - Self-reflection & communicating with God (prayer).
