Exciting Partnership Announcement Coming Soon... I love teaching self-defense and firearms, so why not have tutorials you can watch? I enjoy watching students' confidence grow as we progress through the day of teaching. As you can see, it doesn’t always have to be serious—we can still have fun. One of the techniques I taught is how to react to a bearhug from behind with arms trapped. This is a crucial attack that often happens as a surprise, so we need to react immediately to avoid being overpowered or taken to another location. I start by demonstrating the technique, then break it down step-by-step with the students without using a partner. This helps them understand the technique and the principles behind it. It’s important to trust the technique and not rely on muscle. I teach based on Krav Maga principles. Once they grasp the fundamentals, they practice with a partner to understand and apply the technique. We then put it to the test with a stress drill. This is just one demonstration. Students understand that there are multiple variables and all situations are different. They may need to throw multiple strikes, not just to the groin, but also headbutts, stomps on the toes, scraping the back of their heel on the attacker’s shins, and more. It’s not going to be pretty, and you may get hurt, but you have to fight, never give up, and escape to safety. Remember, these are just little video clips of teaching and demonstrating. If I posted the entire video, why would you pay to come take my course if you can just watch my videos for free? 😜 Haha, just kidding! Here’s a hint: you will be able to log in and watch my tutorials on self-defense and firearms. Stay tuned 🎥😎 Keep training, keep learning, and stay vigilant. Flare the elbows out a bit to help lift up the arms. It creates more space for your strikes you incorporate afterwards. Just a small critique. Hoping it’s helping, not hurting or being construed anything other than constructive.

I appreciate you and your method. However, in situations of life and death, (3 tours as infantry, long range patrol) without any possibility of assistance, the attacker must be disabled as quickly as possible. You can kill an attacker quicker than you can disable him. However, killing would cause much distress for the survivor no matter how much the attacker deserves to die. In the jungle, it was no problem, but with the court here, as they do no longer seek justice, just leniency. I like your proceedure and teaching, but make sure your student knows that the brain is the most powerful organ in the body. Use it. Put the attacker down as quickly as possible, and break at least one of his bones. Also, don't be the gentle lady, as soon as he is on the ground, stomp or kick him, the best place is in the groin.

From a psychological perspective it helps to get comfortable with the fact that in any physical altercation you will most likely have injuries, at least minor ones.

I wish to add something else too. I will speak about it as a well trained scout sniper,LRP, solo hunter.Learn the carotid choke, it does not cut of the airflow to the lungs, but does cut off the bloodflow to the brain. Applied properly, the person it is aoolied to goes to sleep in about two seconds, holding it for four seconds will induce sleep for up to two or three minutes. When I had to remove an enemy sentry, I held the method 25 seconds, if I had the time, Cutting the blood flow to the brain more than five seconds will probably result in permanent brain damage, however, if a man is trying to overcome a woman to murder or rape her, it is justified to use the technique. It is effective either from front or back, whichever way the victim is attacked.

In all honesty, the best self defense for a female against an aggressive male threat is to include a blade .. It is easy to conceal and women are used to handling them .. Strike, strike, strike should actually be stab, cut, stab, cut .. A blade is fast and hard to block w/o suffering serious damage .. Cut him and leave him to deal w/ his serious injuries and stupidity ..

The proper mindset must be able to be tapped into when needed . . . mad dog mean . . . and there won't be anything funny about it. Get them into the correct mindset. . . .
