Every year at LISI AUTOMOTIVE, we set up prevention and awareness actions in the fight against breast cancer. 👏 🎗 Our employees from our facilities in Franche-Comté (🇫🇷) and their families took part in La Marche Rose de Belfort. For each registration a 4€ donation was made to the Ligue contre le Cancer: thanks to this action and to the 40 people registered, we were able to make a donation of €160. Our teams from Puiseux also took part in a 4.5 km Marche Rose from the City Hall to the Les Chênes University site in Cergy Pontoise. 🎗 In Dasle & Mélisey (🇫🇷), our collaborators were invited to wear a pink garment or accessory to show their support. 🎗 In Delle & Grandvillars (🇫🇷), a doctor, a midwife and a nurse hosted breast cancer prevention and screening workshops to teach how to detect any abnormal lumps and to remind everyone of the importance to check regularly. 🎗 In Monterrey (🇲🇽) a health campaign was conducted to raise awareness as well as a vaccination campaign against Human Papillomavirus (HPV). 🎗 In Fuenlabrada (🇪🇸), donations were collected for the Spanish Association Against cancer dedicated to promoting research, support and care for cancer patients and their families. Thank you to everyone who took action in spreading awareness across the globe! 🤝 #OctobreRose #awareness #prevention

💜 Today is World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day. A day dedicated to putting the spotlight on this devastating disease and the importance of early detection. 🎗 Last week our team handed out 500 symptoms awareness leaflets and raised nearly £300 in under 4 hours for @PancreaticCancerAction. It was incredible to see so many people engaging with us, sharing stories and learning more about the symptoms of pancreatic cancer. 📺 This morning, the CEO for PCA will be on the BBC Breakfast red sofa at 7:50am, talking about why awareness is so critical and how small actions, like fundraising and sharing information, can truly save lives. 💬 If you’re inspired to make a difference, it’s not too late to get involved. Share the symptoms, donate, or simply start a conversation. Every effort counts, because when symptoms are missed, lives are missed. 📱Text PANCAN and the amount you'd like to donate to 70085 (up to a maximum of £20) #TurnItPurple #WorldPancreaticCancerDay #MISSEDmoments #KnowTheSymptoms #PancreaticCancerAwarenessMonth #BetterTogether #TeamPCA

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless women affected by this disease. Every step we take, no matter how small, contributes to a larger effort that can save lives. First, we can raise awareness by sharing information on the importance of early detection and regular screenings. A simple conversation or post on social media can remind someone to schedule a mammogram, potentially catching cancer early when it’s most treatable. We can also offer support to those battling breast cancer by donating to research initiatives, charities, or local support groups. Even if we can’t contribute financially, volunteering time or simply listening to someone going through the journey can have a profound impact. Finally, wearing pink is more than just a symbol – it’s a statement of solidarity. When we show up together, we remind those affected that they are not alone. Let’s use this month to educate, support, and advocate for a future where breast cancer no longer steals lives. Together, we have the power to create lasting change, one person at a time.

While NHV is best known for helping pets with cancer, our company knows and cares deeply about clients, friends, and family who have received diagnoses over the years. That is why we are incredibly proud to announce our support for @InspireHealth-BC and their fundraising Gala “A Night to Inspire 2024!” InspireHealth is a comprehensive cancer support non-profit. Like NHV, they believe in empowering those with cancer with the resources they need to tackle this condition with a multi-faceted approach. And since more and more research shows that stress reduction, nutrition, exercise, and support networks can positively improve quality of life, outcomes, and reoccurrence for those with cancer, the importance of comprehensive care - like the kind offered by InspireHealth - is growing rapidly. It is an honor for NHV to join InspireHealth to promote comprehensive cancer care as a Bronze-tier supporter. As a community, we can help people change their lives and futures 🧡 Read more about NHV’s involvement, A Night to Inspire, and why giving back to the community is foundational to what we do as a company that cares. https://lnkd.in/gG5xSaM7

It has been a big year for breast cancer in New Zealand and these changes are only possible because organisations like yours participate in Pink For a Day. Here are some wins from this year that couldn’t have happened without your support: The age extension announcement for free mammograms for women ages 70-74. This was an initiative the community and BCFNZ championed for eight years and will lead to early detection of breast cancer which will save lives. The government announcement of $604 million uplift to Pharmac to fund vital cancer drugs for New Zealanders came after a month of pressure from the public, BCFNZ and other cancer charities. This means New Zealanders living with aggressive forms of breast cancer now have access to life-extending treatment. By signing up for Pink For a Day, your organisation will not only be helping to raise funds for pivotal advocacy work for the breast cancer community, you will also be bringing breast health education to your workplace. Sign up to Go Pink this October. https://ow.ly/QulJ50TACxO

Here to make a difference. Join us in the fight against ovarian cancer, often referred to as the silent killer. We cannot afford to remain silent when it comes to raising awareness and crucial funds for research. Your support is essential in helping us create a significant impact. Ovarian cancer is a grave concern, with around 1,815 new diagnoses each year in Australia and approximately 1,000 lives lost annually to this disease. Sadly, ovarian cancer research is significantly underfunded, especially for rarer types like Granulosa Cell Tumour, which can impact females of all ages, from babies to those going through menopause. This makes our mission more urgent than ever. At Rare Ovarian Cancer (ROC Inc) we are dedicated to supporting vital research to change the narrative. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to breakthroughs in research and treatment. By donating today or signing up for a monthly donation, you are directly supporting efforts to find better ways to diagnose, treat, and ultimately cure ovarian cancer. Your generosity can save lives. Click here to donate and become a part of a movement for change. Let's stand together and make a difference. https://lnkd.in/gd8X9wdT #rockforroc #gctresearch #jgct #makeadifference #granulosacelltumor #childhoodcancer
