Meet The Energy Expert : Tal Cohen, O&M- South District Manager ✨ Tal joined El-Mor Renewable Energy over two years ago as a field technician, after six months he continued as head of contractor operations and deputy manager of the southern region for one and half years, Now, he was appointed as the southern region manager. In the past, he was in permanent service in the technical system of the Air Force in field and staff positions. Q: Tal, what is your area of responsibility? A: As the Southern Region Manager, I manage a team of 15-17 electricians and logistics workers Core of the role - providing comprehensive maintenance services for PV sites (fix, trackers and reservoirs) The role includes performing proactive maintenance work, fixing faults, adhering to an annual work plan, supervising and accompanying contractors (mowing, washing, , construction, civil engineering, electrical contractors, electrical inspectors, communications contractors, security contractors, etc.), managing a team of employees whose role is to execute all tasks, handle details, maintain direct contact with the customer on an ongoing basis and respond to all requirements and make sure the site is producing at its maximum capacity at all times. Q: What is the most significant challenge you have experienced? A: The most significant challenge was rehabilitating solar installations in the Gaza Envelope and in remote areas - about six months after the outbreak of the Swords of Iron War, there was no access to a very large part of the sites due to the security situation. After the situation calmed down and some of the restrictions were cancelled, we reached the sites, and some of them had enormous damage due to shellfire, interception fragments, etc. in all parts of the system. Q: What project are you particularly proud of? A: The project I am most proud of is the rehabilitation of the sites in the southern region. Thanks to the excellent combination of forces of southern region technicians led by the brigade members who pushed, acted professionally, supported and, most importantly, acted with maximum cohesion, calmly and peacefully despite the manpower and time constraints. Tal and the team - we thank and appreciate you for your contribution to a sustainable energy future. 🍀 #Teamwork #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Maintenance

Field Operations Engineer 🖤💀⚙️ 🔥 Offshore flares are complex systems that require a network of integrated systems to operate. From the flare header to process staging and smokeless combustion. Flare systems and their associated components (ignition systems, purge arrangements, etc) may, in accordance with the original design intent of the installation, be identified as SECE and have appropriate performance standards. There may be cases where it can be demonstrated that no MAH events can arise from an unlit or inadequately purged flare and, in these cases, the flare system or parts of it would not require to be identified as SECE. For installations with an original design of a lit flare, good practice is continuing to operate the installation with the flare remaining lit. Where autoignition systems are no longer present or provided, suitable arrangements should be in place for monitoring of flare condition, e.g., pilot flame detection, closed circuit television (CCTV) and regular monitoring by the operations team (e.g. control room operators (CRO)), and relighting the flare without undue delay. Where flare extinguishment (flame out) is occurring, records of such events should be reviewed. If records are not kept/retained, then key offshore personnel should be interviewed to obtain information with the aim of identifying any noticeable trends (weather or flow related, any subsequent issues such as gas detection, flare configurations that have/have not experienced this issue, etc.) to provide input to risk reduction measure identification. Each installation should be assessed on its own merit because of the different flare designs, flare configuration and process conditions. Consideration should also be given to where flare ignition systems are installed (pilots, pellet ignition systems, flame front generators, etc.) and how reliable they are. What would you like to add, industry colleague?..☕ Offshore Memories; I'll be back soon. 🔥⚙️ #oilgas #wellservices #professionalexperiences #engineering #ecuador #petroleumengineer #wellintervention #engineer #work #moments #worksafe #workhard #IADC #IWCF #PetroleumServices

One thing I absolutely love about working at 3X ENGINEERING is the broad range of industries we can work with. For example, did you know that we can work with the oil and gas industry, as well as the power or construction ones? And with the diversity of industries comes the diversity of environments and repairs, making each project REALLY different from the previous one and from the next one! And you, what do you like so much about your job? P.S.: now you know who to call if you ever need maintenance or repairs! #CompositeRepairs #StructuralRepairs #SubseaRepairs

THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN A SERVICE PROVIDER . According to the Electrical Installation Regulations (EIR) as contained in the OHS Act, only registered electricians can do certain work: inspecting installations and issuing Certificates of Compliance (CoCs), such as for purposes of transfer when a property has been sold; undertaking maintenance and alterations; installing solar PV systems; erecting electric fence systems; issuing new CoCs when geysers are replaced; and, connecting generators to the main supply etc. . In the wrong hands, electricity is dangerous, and even more so if the work is done on the infrastructure – the power network – which can impact other units in the estate. Worst-case scenario, there’s the real possibility of electrocution and losing all your possessions in a fire. It’s simple – obey the law and only use an electrical contractor who can prove he’s registered. . We are - Your irrefutable provider of innovative technical solutions and service excellence - . The quality of our service and our clients is our focus - with an aim on job creation, people development, and pristine service delivery in the technical sector. . The Hidden Cost of Procrastination in the Workplace. As an Electrical Technician at Matrix Group Energy, I have learned from my facility manager, Mr Hassan Lawal, that managing time effectively is crucial for personal productivity and ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. Procrastination, often overlooked, can have serious consequences in our field. Delaying important tasks like preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, or equipment inspections can lead to larger issues down the line. Small electrical faults, if ignored, can escalate into major system failures or even safety hazards. Procrastination doesn’t just affect the individual; it impacts the entire team, potentially causing downtime, costly repairs, and safety risks. In my experience, taking proactive steps—whether it's performing scheduled maintenance or addressing minor faults immediately—prevents bigger problems and keeps operations running smoothly. Being disciplined with time management and prioritizing tasks ensures both personal growth and the company’s success. #ElectricalTechnician #WorkplaceEfficiency #TimeManagement #SafetyFirst #PreventiveMaintenance
