Salam & hello everyone! Time flies, and two weeks of #Ramadan are almost done. As we're still in the holy month, I'd like to share insights into this sacred time with my non-Muslim friends and colleagues, hoping to bridge understanding and foster a sense of #community. 1. Why it’s wise to avoid calls around 7 PM to 8 PM: During Ramadan, Muslims in Malaysia gather to break their fast and engage in prayer at this time, marking a moment of #gratitude and family unity. If possible, try to avoid calling or requesting anything from your Muslim colleagues during these hours. Remember, prayer times can vary significantly across different regions and seasons. 2. The Essence of Tarawih Prayers: Unique to Ramadan, Tarawih prayers are held after the Isha prayer and can last until about 10:30 PM. These prayers offer a chance for deeper #spiritual #reflection and are a significant part of the Ramadan experience. If a friend opts out of post-Iftar gatherings, it’s often to participate in Tarawih. 3. As additional point, for Friday Prayers (Sembahyang Jumaat): From 12:30 PM to 2 PM on Fridays, it's best to avoid scheduling meetings as Muslim men typically attend the mosque for Friday prayers. This weekly observance is a pivotal part of #Muslim #faith, involving communal prayers and a sermon, highlighting the importance of community in Islam. Like Tarawih and Iftar times, these practices reflect the rich diversity within the Muslim community and can vary from one place to another. Understanding and respecting these practices greatly enhances our workplace and community #harmony. Here’s to a month filled with kindness, mutual #respect, and learning from each other’s #traditions. Wishing everyone a #peaceful and #insightful Ramadan. Let’s continue to support and learn from one another, #celebrating the #diversity that #unites us. If you find this sharing useful, feel free to like, comment, or share.

Salam and happy Thursday all, Today, Malaysia and the Muslim world observe Nuzul Quran, marking the descent of the Quran's first verses to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) during Ramadan. This day highlights the beginning of divine guidance that spans every aspect of life. In Malaysia, it's a public holiday, recognising the Quran's significance beyond the Muslim community, as a beacon of knowledge and enlightenment. Here are 10 Quick Facts about the Holy Quran: 1. Structure: 114 chapters (surahs), divided into 30 parts/chapters. 2. Revelation Time: Began in Ramadan. 3. Duration: Revealed over 23 years: 13 in Mecca, 10 in Medina. 4. Reading Rewards: Each letter read equals 10 rewards. 5. Extremes: Baqarah is the longest chapter; Kawthar, is the shortest. 6. Divine Delivery: Revealed through angel Jibril to Muhammad (PBUH). 7. Prophetic Age: The Prophet was 40 at the first revelation. 8. Meaning: The Quran means "that which is being read." 9. Prophets Mentioned: Names 25 prophets. 10. Judgment Day: Will intercede for its reciters. As someone reconnecting with the Quran, I've found profound wisdom within. It offers solace and guidance through challenges, embodying perseverance and kindness. Regardless of your faith, Ramadan offers a chance to explore the Quran's teachings. Let's appreciate its universal values and strive to be kinder, better humans. This reflection comes from personal exploration, not scholarly authority. The Quran's beauty lies in its unique voice to each of us. Let's embrace today with reflection, learning, and the gentle guidance that has touched billions of hearts worldwide.#NuzulQuran #Ramadan #Learning #Reflection #UniversalWisdom

The sacred tradition of Ramadan is a time of reflection, spiritual renewal, and communal solidarity. It's very enjoyable to see my friends honor and respect this time of year as not only a religious observance but a cultural experience also. The parallel between adherence in respecting tradition and broader aspects of life is just so striking. Just as my friends fast from dawn to sunset and engage in increased acts of kindness and prayer, there's a very stong commitment to values and principles. It's not confined to religious observances alone; it applies to all facets of life. The foundation of Ramadan is with discipline, empathy, and a sense of shared responsibility. It's the same concept of adherence in life— ethical values, respecting diversity, and contributing positively to the community. Even medication adherence in a way. the company called adherence. Embracing the Sacred Tradition of Fasting: Ramadan Begins Today 🌙 Today marks the beginning of Ramadan, a sacred time of fasting and spiritual reflection observed by Muslims worldwide. As we embark on this journey, let's take a moment to reflect on the profound significance of fasting across cultures and religions. Fasting has been a cherished tradition in various cultures throughout history, transcending religious boundaries. Beyond its physical benefits of conserving energy and detoxifying the body, fasting holds a deeper spiritual significance. It offers a powerful opportunity for inner cleansing and introspection, allowing us to connect with our inner selves and seek clarity on aspects of life that may have left us feeling confused or lost. In Christianity, the tradition of fasting is observed during Lent, a period of 40 days leading up to Easter. Similarly, many other faiths incorporate fasting into their spiritual practices, recognising its transformative power on both the body and soul. I always focus on what humans have done for thousands of years to remind myself not to get lost in conflicting information. As we embark on this sacred journey of Ramadan, let's embrace the spiritual cleanse it offers and strive to cultivate inner peace, clarity, and gratitude. Wishing everyone observing Ramadan a blessed and fulfilling month ahead. 🌟 #healthconcierge #executivecoaching #RamadanMubarak #FastingTraditions #SpiritualReflection
