A lot of people see LinkedIn as this awkward corporate void of job updates and ads...but that’s not how I see it! Just like any other social platform, it depends on how you use it. For me, that's connection. I think LinkedIn is a great platform to connect and meet new people. I use it to share my company’s latest projects and keep in touch with old/new colleagues. And I think it’s awesome for that. This week, I’m excited to share more “personal content” related to my video production company like WHY we do what we do. To kick things off, here are 5 short things you may (or may not) know about me. 1. My dream job in high school was to become a ✨Starbucks Barista✨ 2. The very first camera I shot on was the Canon T3...it couldn’t even film in 1080p. 3. During college, I lived abroad in Paris France for 1 year. (Best year ever) 4. I double majored in college. BA in Cinema & French. 5. 1/2 of my family is in Texas and the rest in the Philippines Sure, LinkedIn is a bit more "professional" than IG, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun on it either! We’re hiring – but does anyone really care? We’ve got three open positions at Sonus Events (actually, make that four): - Senior AV/Event Technician - Event Technician – Lighting & Video - Digital Marketer/Social Media Manager - Operations Manager But here’s the thing: we’re not just looking for people who want to trade hours for pay, counting down the clock. We want people who love what they do, who want to grow with us, and who believe in our (slightly mad) vision. I’m not going to go on about “culture” – I know that word can feel overused. But what I do want is to build a team of loyal, motivated individuals who are as invested in our goals as we are in theirs. Are we perfect? No. Do we know it all? Nope. Are we some massive company with unlimited resources? Definitely not. But we have a clear vision, and we’re looking for the right people to join us and make it happen. So, does anyone care? Do employees care about the companies they work for? Do employers care about the dreams, goals, and well-being of their teams? I don’t know for sure – but I’d like to think so.

✅ In the world of content creation and social influence, it’s becoming increasingly clear that public personas often don’t align with private interactions. 🤘 A strong personal brand isn't just about how many likes or followers you have. True influence is what people say about you when you're not in the room.( stole this quote from Liam H. ) ❤️ If we want genuine engagement and loyalty, we should be the same person online as we are offline, particularly in a positive, grounded way. 🤘 Ego needs to stay out of the equation. Instead, focus on making meaningful connections and pursue what you love—not for likes, not for clout, but because you’re truly passionate about it. ✅ As I gear up for a new role next month, I’d love to offer support to those who might need it. HI!  I was the front office coordinator for two years and recently stepped into the marketing coordinator role. Get to know a little about me below!  1. If you could live in any fictional world for a week, where would you choose and why? The Toy Story world - I always loved it as a kid and all the toys are awesome! 2. What’s a hobby or activity you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t had the chance to yet? Off-roading - it's not as easy as it looks 3. If you could have dinner with any actor, who would it be, and what’s one question you’d ask them? I'd have dinner with Julia Roberts and I would ask her what her favorite scene was in My Best Friend's Wedding. 4. What’s the most unusual or surprising job you’ve ever had, and what did you learn from it? This one! There are many personalities in the office; I've learned to work with different personalities to help me succeed in my role. 5. If you could instantly become an expert in any skill or subject, what would it be?  I'd love to be skilled in math! Math never goes away! 6. What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day, and how did you discover it? I enjoy lighting a candle in the evening and watch reruns of my favorite show.
