Logifem is the first network welcoming other network owners. So excited to changing the game in the market and proud to be the first again 😊 In this global world, we should clearly admit that no one belongs to anyone. There are people/companies around the world becoming members of multiple networks. Yet, the networking world is being managed by old school mindset and they impose to the market that a network owner can not attend any other network or be a freight forwarder(although many of their families have behind the scenes) where they can not adapt the transmission of globalizm in variable manners. I have discussed with many people so far, network owners, forwarders, competitors. I asked them why a freight forwarder can not be a network owner ? This rule has been implemented by whom? Where it is written? Which book. no one could give me a reasonable and convincing answer so far, other then memorized ‘conflict of interest’ sentence which has no base other than a tabu. Also, when ı asked what it is, no convincing answer neither again for this subject. Well I am quite open to discuss wt anyone anytime. It is a long story, but long story short, ‘conflict of interest’ has been created by people who dont want forwarders to enter their comfort zone, because by this way they survive easily, they dont want to be competitors with their customers at the end of the day because they dont feel secure enough to handle healthy competition. Many of them dont know how to do it. They mess behind. From my personal point of view I see nothing wrong in this as already many of network owners own freight forwarding companies too either by themselves or by their families 😊 There is nothing wrong having a frw company and a network at the same time and joining networks neither, as long as you know your limits and respect others. The only wrong thing I have observed so far which is a big conflict of interest from my point of view is to block people and harm their business. As long as you dont harm anyone or gum up others’ business, and only do your own thing, you are doing nothing related wrong but doing the right thing if this is what you want. I have been approached so far by many frws asking me how I manage it as they want the same but they are afraid being kicked out of networks they are member of, this rule out of no where and will change soon😊 Today I am proud to share that Mr Micheal from Inter-ConneX has been quite generous to support the first women network in the world as well as women empowerment and he will be joining us for this exclusive conference. As Logifem Network Society, we are happy to implement new rules for the networks to be well aware of that we should not be in competition but cooperation. This comprehensive curriculum delved into the crucial elements and issues related to sustainable regional transport connectivity in Asia and the Pacific, to inform policy decision-makers and experts about the current state of transport connectivity, aiming to enhance their capacity to leverage regional cooperation and preserve transport connectivity in their respective countries and subregions. Key Takeaways: 1. Enhanced Understanding: Gained insights into the main issues in transport connectivity and logistics in Asia and the Pacific, particularly in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals. 📚🌱 2. Mechanisms and Tools: Learned about existing mechanisms and tools for addressing evolving trends and long-term sustainability challenges in the transport sector. 🛠️🔍 3. Regional Collaboration: Recognised the critical need for regional collaboration to address transport development challenges effectively. 🤝🌐 4. A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending the CILT Zimbabwe NextGen annual dinner hosted at Cresta lodge. CILT Zimbabwe NextGen Dinner served as a dynamic platform for networking among logistics professionals, students, and industry leaders. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas, build connections, and explore collaborative opportunities within Zimbabwe's logistics and transportation sectors. A key focus of the event was end-to-end logistics, with discussions highlighting its importance in enhancing supply chain efficiency and competitiveness in Zimbabwe. Challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, last-mile delivery bottlenecks, and fragmented supply chains were addressed. Participants proposed solutions like leveraging technology for real-time tracking, improving infrastructure, and fostering public-private partnerships to streamline logistics operations.
