Here's my little reflection from the weekend. If change is constant, why not design it, rather than be swept along by it? Yesterday, I walked with Woody, veeeerrrrry slowly to the end of the street. In August he was running on the beach and jumping into the waves, but things have changed quickly, and I realised that will never happen again. No matter how much we want to hold on, change is gonna come. Woody is in his last chapter, a quieter one. 😢 🩷 😊 It got me thinking—so many of us resist change. We play it safe rather than going all out. We stay stuck, bored, miserable because somehow that feels easier. But whether we want it or not, life carries us into new chapters, so why not design the change ourselves? If life is going to change anyway—why not be intentional about it? Instead of fearing change, we can choose to shape it in any direction we choose. Forget the "how". Just start with the design. So, as I walk with my old friend, I'll enjoy him for how he is now and be present with him for as long as we have him. 🙏
