As part of Lindab’s ongoing commitment to transition to a sustainable production, we are excited to announce the installation of a solar power plant at one of our largest production units, in Karlovarská. This project is co-financed by the Modernisation Fund in Czech Republic, following a decision by the Minister of the Environment. The new solar installation, located on previously unused and difficult-to-develop land owned by Lindab, is the largest solar power plant in Prague. With a capacity of 1 MWp (Megawatt peak) the installation is expected to cover nearly 30% of the production unit’s electricity consumption. This initiative will significantly reduce our carbon footprint, aligning with our sustainability goals to minimise the environmental impact of our production processes. #lindab #ventilation #indoorclimate #wecareforindoorair #forabetterclimate

[NEWS] We are excited to share that together with Kuusamon energia- ja vesiosuuskunta, we are transforming the district heating production in Kuusamo, Finland. In the future, district heating in Kuusamo city center will be partially produced using electricity. ⚡   "EVO chose Adven as its partner based on a long-standing collaborative relationship. We found Adven to be a reliable and competent partner. With this new agreement, we are strengthening our partnership well into the 2030s," says Mika Mankinen, CEO of Kuusamo Energy and Water Cooperative.   Adven and Kuusamo EVO have been partners for over 30 years. By introducing electricity in the district heating, the companies reduce the dependence on fossil fuels while also enabling automatic optimization of energy production and stabilizing energy price.
