What are future key steps for scope 3 GHG reporting? 💡 The Innosuisse flagship WISER reached a significant  milestone. During the Midterm Review Meeting, representatives of Innosuisse and selected experts gathered to assess the progress of the flagship and its future. Both the academic and implantation partners presented the collaborative efforts and work put in during the first two years of the project. Here are some of the key take-aways:   💥 Power of collective progress and effective team work to drive innovation and positive impact 📊 Need for innovative commitments to simplify the access to reliable Scope 3 GHG data for various reporting needs 👩🏻⚖️ Overwhelmingly positive feedback from the expert jury who evaluated the work as an "exceptionally precious product" and emphasising the importance of continued development with the support of Innosuisse. HRB is an initiative of the European Commission which aims to bring a continual stream of innovation to the market and maximise the impact of public funded research within the EU.  It supports projects eager to go beyond their Dissemination and Exploitation (D&E) obligations - steering research towards strong societal impact and concretising the value of Research and Innovation (R&I) activity for societal challenges. To achieve this, HRB offers free consulting services to closed or ongoing research projects funded by FP7, Horizon 2020, or Horizon Europe programmes. The 1st result of this service for our Projects Group was identifying and creating the portfolio of Research & Innovation project results that are suitable for joint dissemination.

⛴ #AID4GREENEST researcher Michael Sluydts from ePotentia has attended the “Digital-4-Environment” Workshop organized by The European Steel Technology Platform (ESTEP) on 20 & 21 February 2024 in Bardolino (Garda Lake, Italy). The conference covered #digital and #environmental impact, #energy efficiency, and clean transition in the steel sector, along with empowering workers' skills and monitoring circular economy and #sustainability. 📣 Michael introduced the #AI4MI online course designed to connect materials researchers with #ai. The AID4GREENEST Project aims to enhance this course by incorporating additional content and establishing a new open #data repository specifically for steel data.
