MADE4WINDPROJECT’s Post

👇The only thing that we want is a sustainable future for Offshore Wind Farms Offshore wind energy is crucial for a sustainable future, but it faces major challenges: bulky components, limited recyclability, and environmental impact. This is where the EU-funded MADE4WIND project comes in, bringing together 11 partners from 5 countries with a budget of 6 million euros. MADE4WIND is dedicated to developing innovative components for a 15 MW floating wind turbine, using lightweight and circular materials and advanced software tools. The project aims to increase operational availability, reduce maintenance, and lower the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE), paving the way for the massive deployment of >15 MW floating wind farms. With MADE4WIND, we are driving the full decarbonization of Europe’s energy supply, aligning with the European Green Deal and striving to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
