✨Service Managers 🆚 Parts Managers✨ 🔧Service Managers mostly extroverts, want to fix it now, make the customer happy, get the car out the door, and keep the technician busy. ⚙️Parts Managers, mostly introverts, like the processes and organization of a well-run department. Also, sometimes there needs to be reminders of how these Departments really complement each other. 🚩80% of most Parts Department's profits come from their internal sales. So, that means the Service Department is really their best salesperson. 🎁At the end of the day, both want to succeed and help the Dealership be the best it can be, but they have different ways of looking at the same thing. The more labor hours sold, the more parts sold. #Automotive #Marketing #Learning

🚗 Absolutely agree! It's not always about subprime—it's about affordability in today's market. With so many customers living paycheck to paycheck, figuring out their financial reality upfront isn't just smart—it's the difference between closing the deal and losing it. 🥾Here's the kicker: I recently had a conversation with a corporate F&I Director who told me, "Becky, we don't get 575 FICO score customers." His head must be buried in the sand! Really? You can throw a rock across the street to the Ford store which has a designated subprime F&I manager working deals and moving units. ⁉️Dragging customers through a painful, drawn-out process doesn't just hurt your sales—it kills the experience. And let's be honest, you can't keep running your dealership like it's 2010 and expect to stay competitive. Matthew Lasher 👋 John Schulz 🤝Adapt, innovate, and meet customers where they are. Engage the customer way! Do that, and you'll sell more cars, build loyalty, and leave your competition in the dust. 🧳Becky Chernek, founder of Chernek Consulting in 2001, has over two decades of experience providing exceptional sales, desking, and F&I consultation to auto dealers across the United States. Recently announced F&I Subprime Concerige, we take it from A-Z giving you time to do what you love doing, selling cars! With a proven track record and hundreds of glowing dealer testimonials, Becky is a trusted authority in the automotive industry, helping dealerships optimize their processes and achieve lasting success. I’m on a budget. And so are you.💰 Is your dealership ignoring this reality? We, as dealership professionals, should embrace the idea that basically everyone has a budget, and guide consumers through the vehicle selection process in an informed and confident way. Some things to do: - Early F&I involvement - Sales person training on interview process - Sourcing affordable used vehicles - Consistent desking policies #automotive #dealership

It's like posting your truck driving jobs in Craigslist...you know it's a bad idea that will get you in trouble but sometimes it seems so enticing. Don't do it. #CDLjobs #truckingjobs #trucking #advertisingandmarketing #drivingjobs #technology #driverrecruiting

Meet the Management Team! Next is Chris Rossberg - our Manufacturing Manager. Chris oversees the day-to-day production and manufacturing at Laminate Works. How long have you been at LW?: 2.5 years What’s your favorite part of your job?: The people and the relationships I’ve made with past and present employees. If you could have any superpower to make your job easier, what would it be?: Teleportation. I often need to be in two places at once, so being able to instantly get there would be helpful! What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received (personal or professional)?: If you don’t have time to do it right, you must have time to do it over. What’s one talent or hobby you have that most people don’t know about?: I enjoy photography and long-range precision shooting. If you could switch roles with anyone at LW for a day, who would it be and what would you do?: I would probably switch with a new hire to get an opportunity to see things from a fresh perspective and use that to help ensure we are aligned in the culture we are building and that new people feel welcome, appreciated and heard. If your team had a theme song, what would it be?: "Don’t Stop Believin'" – Journey We can count on Chris to make sure production is running smoothly every day!
