Airtel XSTREAM FIBER has redefined what customer service means, and perhaps not in a way you'd expect!
Their internet connectivity is so exceptional that it disappears for days at a time. Today is Day 8 of my broadband-free life, and the Airtel team continues to astound me with their unwavering commitment to telling me that it will be fixed VERY SOON.
Their service commitment is so fantastic that it has made me utterly speechless. No matter how many times I’ve called Airtel’s 'My Dedicated Relationship Team', it feels like a never-ending loop of assurances. They keep promising my issue is top priority and that I’ll receive a call back within 4 hours. Their promise is like waiting for a UFO sighting — everyone talks about it, but no one has actually seen it!

airtel : Poor Customer Support & Unfair Recharge Policy
airtel , despite being one of the largest telecom providers in India, has made it increasingly difficult for customers to connect with their support team, leaving issues unresolved for days. The customer service process is unnecessarily complex, leading to frustration and wasted time.
Additionally, the recent change to disconnect incoming calls and OTP services just 3 days after recharge expiry is unfair and inconvenient. This short window puts unnecessary pressure on customers and disrupts essential services.
It’s time Airtel takes customer concerns seriously, improves their support process, and revises this unreasonable recharge expiry policy.

airtel it's high time to fix this. The frustration and disappointment with your service have reached a breaking point. For the past 8 days, the WiFi has been completely down. Despite many calls to airtel’s customer service, each lasting between 30 minutes to 1 hour, and assurances of resolution within 24 hours in each call, the issue remains unresolved.
Scheduled appointments for an engineer to come and fix the issue have all been useless, with no one showing up. This disregard for customer service and false promises is just not acceptable.
It's frustrating to see customer complaints being ignored. airtel it's time to stop making empty promises and start providing real solutions.

I'm disappointed to say that my previous outreach to Airtel regarding their poor network coverage and unreliable broadband services has not been adequately addressed. As a long-standing customer & a brand ambassador myself , I have repeatedly faced unacceptable connectivity issues that have significantly impacted my ability to work and stay productive.
Despite reaching out to Airtel's customer support, the problems persist without meaningful resolution. Frequent call drops, spotty 4G coverage, and constant broadband dropouts and slow speeds continue to plague me at both my home and office locations.
This is simply unacceptable for a leading telecom provider. I expect a higher standard of reliable connectivity and service quality, especially as someone who relies on stable internet and mobile access for my professional and personal needs.
I am now escalating this issue publicly on LinkedIn in the hopes of drawing Airtel's attention and prompting a more serious and urgent response. I urge the Airtel leadership team to investigate this matter thoroughly and take concrete steps to improve the network infrastructure and service delivery in my area.
As a valued long-term customer, I deserve better. I am hopeful that by elevating this complaint, Airtel will prioritize addressing my connectivity concerns and provide a satisfactory resolution.
I welcome any feedback or outreach from Airtel representatives to discuss this issue further and arrive at a prompt solution. My productivity and digital lifestyle should not be compromised due to poor network and broadband reliability.

WiFi not working
Same story every third day. Slight rain screws up everything. As if we are in the ages of mechanic antennas.
Work affected. Multiple drop offs but no one cares at airtel for permanent solves.
Payment you want in full. For inferior services customer is expected to call and ask for waiver in next cycle that too after waiting for queue for 5 min every time even after being an Airtel black member.
When extra services are added automatically then why not give waiver for inferior services by default.
Also is the waiver enough for service disruptions?
ETA for fixing issue can be 15 days as well as per message received below. Are you ready to waive off 15 days payment in advance or tell that you are inefficient so find someone else.

I am writing this post to bring to light the unresolved issues and questionable tactics (fraud) regarding my airtel broadband connection. Airtel Cares#Background:
- I got my Airtel Cares broadband connection on 24th May.
- Within one month, my broadband has gone down three times.
#Issues Faced:
- Complaint Raised on 11th June, 2024:
- No resolution or update has been provided till date.
#TwitterComplaint:
- Raised a complaint via Twitter, but received no updates.
#EscalationAttempts:
- L1/L2 escalation support did not respond even to customer support calls, who tried to check the status directly. When they finally answered, they spoke very rudely to customer support when asked about the status of my resolution. This behavior reflects a toxic culture within the company.
- Ask to disconnect the airtel broadband (xtreme-fiber or airtel black) connection but denied on the face, watched this youtube video (https://lnkd.in/gtJd4i7P) and realised, disconnection is more difficult
- Requested to speak with a floor manager, but was informed none were available.
- Customer support asked me I can take any action I deem necessary.
#NextSteps:
- I have already filed a complaint with the consumer forum.
- If no resolution is provided soon, I will escalate this matter to the consumer court.
This issue, which should have been resolved easily, feels like an attempt to generate bills fraudulently. This is not an isolated case; similar issues were reported with Zomato in Hyderabad, leading to a complaint with FSSAI Publication.
