Combating malaria is an absolute necessity. According to the latest WHO report, the number of cases increased by 11 million in 2023 and 600,000 people lost their lives to this disease in the same year. Moreover climate change exacerbates the risk of malaria in Africa, with 550,000 additional deaths projected by 2050, a 17% reduction in the effectiveness of control efforts, and 1.3 billion people exposed in areas where eradication will become even more difficult. Malaria remains one of the deadliest diseases in the world, with more than 249 million victims and approximately 608,000 deaths per year, mainly in children under 5 years of age. The disease is spread by infected mosquitoes. Help us in the fight against malaria! We always look for partnerships with other companies to settle this battle in our favor. The concept is simple: if you don't get bitten, you can't get malaria. That is why we distribute nets every year and invest in research. Read our 6th malaria impact report and help. Despite being preventable and treatable, malaria continues to wreak havoc on millions worldwide. Shockingly, in 2020 alone, there were an estimated 241 million new cases and 627,000 malaria-related deaths across 85 countries. Tragically, over two-thirds of these fatalities were children under the age of 5 in the WHO African Region. This reality underscores the urgent need for concerted action to prevent, control, and eradicate malaria. World Malaria Day serves as a platform to not only raise awareness about this preventable disease but also celebrate the strides made in combating it. #WorldMalariaDay #EndMalaria #HealthForAll
