你好Nǐ hǎo! As we approach the final workweek of the year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the true essence of Christmas. Beyond the cheer of Santa Claus, Secret Santa gifts, carols, cakes, bakes, wine, and all the festive frolic, there’s a deeper message—one of hope, renewal, and compassion. Somewhere amidst the chaos, it’s also a reminder of new beginnings, the challenges faced by newborns and their parents, and the pressing realities of the world we’ve collectively shaped. Perhaps, the world we envisioned hasn’t turned out as we hoped, constrained by the limitations of our collective understanding of nature and humanity. Yet, in this imperfection lies an opportunity—an opportunity to pause, to reassess, and to act. As a species, we face existential concerns that transcend sentimentality, logic, economics, or even sustainability. These challenges exist regardless of politics, religion, science, climate change, global warming, ageing populations, economic uncertainties, or any of the myriad issues that dominate our times. If modern, educated, and affluent citizens often find themselves vulnerable—emotionally, financially, physically, or mentally—imagine the plight of those in impoverished regions, trapped in dire circumstances far beyond their control. Their struggles remind us of the stark inequalities that persist in our world and the urgent need for #empathy, #action, and #change. Let’s resolve to rise above superficial goals tied only to our health, wealth, or status. Let’s commit to resolutions that align with humanity’s greater good—resolutions rooted in sustainability, conservation, mental health, education, and hygiene. Let’s prioritize compassion, awareness, and action that address not just individual concerns but the challenges we face collectively as inhabitants of this planet. Take a moment to reflect on your concerns, your thoughts, and your views. Share them freely. Act on them boldly. Even the smallest steps can create ripples of change. Together, let’s strive to make a difference—not just for ourselves, but for the generations to come. The Gift of Time: Starting Fresh This New Year The New Year reminds us that time is fleeting. Sometimes, we get so caught up in work, responsibilities, or chasing success that we forget what truly matters—our loved ones, our health, and the little moments of joy. For this New Year, here’s a challenge for you: give the gift of time. 1. Spend an hour with someone you care about—no phones, no distractions. Just be present. 2. Write a letter to someone you’ve lost touch with or take a moment to reconnect with yourself. We often realize the value of time only when it’s gone. But this New Year is a fresh start. Let’s promise ourselves to treasure every moment, to be there for the people we love, and to live fully. #Time #TimeMotivation

This holiday season, I was reminded of how old traditions can take on new life, often in the most unexpected ways. For 30 years, a quirky family tradition involving regifting some rather tacky butterfly magnets has brought laughter and connection to my ex-husband’s family. Each year, someone passes the butterflies along, and the next recipient gets the joy (or the burden!) of holding onto them until they can regift them again the following Christmas. When we divorced, I thought I had said goodbye to that tradition, but life has a funny way of coming full circle. This year, as we celebrated together as one family, I became the lucky recipient of one of those infamous butterflies. It was a small but poignant reminder of how love, humor, and shared traditions keep us connected, even as life evolves. In HR, we often talk about the power of traditions in building strong teams and cultures. Like that butterfly magnet, traditions can anchor us, create continuity, and spark joy ~ even in ways we don’t anticipate. Whether it's a shared laugh, a collective challenge, or a long-standing ritual, these moments strengthen our bonds, build resilience, and remind us that we’re all in this together. As we prepare to close 2024 and look ahead to 2025, I’m thinking about how we can carry forward the best parts of our traditions while leaving space for new ones to emerge. What will we bring with us into the new year to strengthen our teams, our families, and our communities? How can we honor the past while embracing new opportunities? Here’s to a 2025 filled with connection, growth, and the courage to embrace whatever butterflies (tacky or otherwise) might come our way. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a bright start to the new year! 🎄🦋 𝘗.𝘚. 𝘐 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘵. The holiday season is a time for giving, but how often do we intentionally carve out time to give back to ourselves? With the whirlwind of gatherings, deadlines, to-do lists, and other seasonal obligations, it’s easy to lose sight of what anchors us. This year, I’m making it a priority to step away from the noise, reprioritize what truly matters, and create room for what feels meaningful and grounding. As I look toward the new year, I’m reflecting on: 🌟 Which routines or responsibilities have outlived their purpose in my life? 🌟 How can I practice saying no more intentionally, making room to say yes to the things that align with my values and priorities? 🌟 How will this fresh alignment shape the way I move forward in 2025? Taking care of ourselves isn’t indulgent—it’s foundational to how we engage with the world. When we create time to reconnect with what matters most, our next steps are infused with more clarity, vitality, and focus. This becomes a gift not only for ourselves but for everyone around us. Wishing you the presence to reflect and the courage to take aligned steps into a purposeful New Year.

Something For The #Weekend! WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES? Isn't it ironic that we often prioritise the future over the present? Convention shows that most of our plans are for the future. Most of the things we occupy ourselves with today are purposed for tomorrow: Studying hard today for a better job tomorrow; working hard today to save up for tomorrow; making plans today for a better tomorrow; and, even, paying for a funeral plan today for when we die in one of the many tomorrows to come. But what if the tomorrow of our aspiration never comes? What if today was all that's left for us? As the saying goes, You don't know what you've got till it's gone. Today is what we've got. Don't wait till it's gone before you realise its value. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting we live our lives irresponsibly as loafers, focused only on the now and with no plans for the future. My point is we need to be wise in striking a healthy balance between our endeavours for the future and truly living in the present, today. After all, isn't today the tomorrow we planned for yesterday? Make your today count! #weekendvibes #today #now #present #carpediem Follow For More. * Picture: Waiting for the future while ignoring the present.

As the year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the accomplishments and struggles that have shaped my journey. One memory stands out: when my son was just a few months old, my family faced one of the hardest times of our lives. My then-husband, the primary breadwinner, had lost his job. With bills mounting, we could no longer afford our home. I remember putting up the Christmas tree in our living room, knowing it would be the last holiday we’d spend there. Sure enough by spring, we had to move out. Going back to work, after mat leave, I felt hopeless. I couldn’t see a way forward. I faced the stark reality of becoming another statistic—a single mom with young children. But deep inside, I knew I had a choice: to give up or fight for a better future. That season of life became my greatest challenge. I confronted fears I never imagined I could face. With courage and determination, I kept going, even when the path ahead was unclear. Through that experience, I discovered something profound: My Inner Why. It became my anchor, guiding me through uncertainty and keeping me centered when I felt lost. Reconnecting with “My Inner Why” helped me persevere and ultimately thrive. This holiday season, I invite you to reflect on your Inner Why. What motivates you? What gives you strength? Reconnecting with it can recharge your spirit and help you start the New Year with clarity and purpose. And you don’t need to wait for January—start today. Begin small. Take time to listen to your heart. Wishing you a safe, joyful, and reflective holiday season. May it be the start of something beautiful for you. #YourInnerWhy #PurposeDrivenChange #YourAnchor #Awareness #Year2025 #HappyHolidays

The holiday season is upon us, and it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect. 🎄✨ In the fast-paced world of corporate America, it’s easy to get caught up in deadlines and to-do lists. But here’s a gentle reminder: the work will always be there. What truly matters are the moments spent with the people who mean the most to us. This season, let’s take a step back, unwind, and focus on family, friends, and connection. 💖 Let’s let go of the need for perfection—whether it’s the perfect meal or the perfect gift—and embrace gratitude instead. 🙏 As we count our blessings, let’s also recharge for the year ahead. Remember, the best investment we can make is in the relationships that bring us joy and fulfillment. Wishing you a season filled with meaningful moments and a renewed sense of purpose for the new year. #HolidayReflection #WorkLifeBalance #CorporateMindset #GratitudeAtWork #UnwindAndRecharge

Thoughts as we welcome new year 2025 #2025 A Year Slipped By On December’s eve, as the clock strikes near, We revel and toast to the fading year. With laughter and lights, we paint the night, Ignoring the whispers of hindsight. A year has slipped, unnoticed, untold, Wins forgotten, lessons cold. We chase the thrill, the fleeting cheer, Blind to the depth of what brought us here. The sparkle fades, the highs subside, Leaving emptiness where joy should reside. In the glow of fireworks, shadows loom, A silent sadness fills the room. We focus on self, on pleasure's gleam, Yet life’s deeper truths evade the dream. Helping others, lifting their load, Leads us to paths where true joy is sowed. The heart finds peace in another's smile, A gesture of kindness makes life worthwhile. Celebrate not just for self alone, But for the happiness seeds we’ve sown. May this new year bring light to see, That joy lies in shared humanity. Let us welcome the year with giving hearts, And in each other's lives, play our parts. For lasting happiness, this truth we find: The greatest gift is a giving mind. So as the clock strikes, may we all embrace, A brighter world in our shared grace. #NewYearReflection #HappinessInGiving #CelebrateWithPurpose #YearEndIntrospection #FindTrueJoy #LiftEachOtherUp #MeaningfulCelebrations #SpreadKindness #SharedHumanity #LastingHappiness #BalanceLife #WinsAndLessons #JoyInOthers #WelcomeChange #NewYearNewPerspective
