The only way to describe the corporate innovation conference by Innov8rs.co is rocket fuel! It was a great way to tap into new ideas for Gasunie, inspiration and most of all the new connections. Spending 2 full days with so many likeminded people was truly energizing and made for so many great conversations it's hard to summarize them in a LinkedIn post but I'll give it a try to share my main ones: Pirates Corporates loves processes and innovation is often chaotic. Pirates sail the sea of rules and regulation within the organization but discover new places where they can play by their own rules. Politician Being a pirate 50% of the time also requires you to be a politician for the other 50% Patience Yes, your patience is seriously tested sometimes. No, that's not a bad thing. Persistence Most corporate innovators I spoke with have pivoted their internal strategy on creating room for innovation within the organisation multiple times. If it's not working, don't quit. Evaluate, change direction and try again.    Also, a conference in Italy is highly recommended for refuelling breaks with excellent coffee, gelato and pizza. Shaping the future for the environment and the company with innovation. Take a look at what Jaeggi, Güntner and we as employees are doing to achieve this. Sustainable innovations are developed in the Güntner Group as part of the #ThinkIt programme. ThinkIt (https://lnkd.in/dMn_64-v ) is a global intrapreneurship programme in which teams develop and work on solution ideas within a protected space, but always in line with specific challenges and customer needs, and finally present them to the management for evaluation. Together with Naiane Conte and Jamison Ditthardt, I have had the opportunity in recent months to work purely remote on such a challenge in the data centre sector. Last week, we met in person for the first time in Munich. We put the finishing touches to our idea for our management presentation. And it was worth it. Not only the whole week were great, but also the result. We were able to convince the potential sponsors Michael Freiherr, Marco Baumann, Rodrigo Velazquillo, Tamás Schwarczenberger, Klaus Wittek and Hendra Damardjaya. That means we have and have now been the chance to continue working on our idea. What makes this decision so special for me? By deciding in favour of our proposed innovation approach, the management has shown that it is willing to explore new and alternatives path in greater depth and to pursue them further - alongside the established and successful entrepreneurial paths. In my opinion, this requires courage, determination and foresight. But even more: the freedom to realise such ideas. And this freedom is ultimately based on one thing: #trust. Trust in the knowledge, expertise and experience of us as employees. Under these conditions, I am delighted to be part of a great team and to be able to continue working on our idea for JAEGGI Hybridtechnologie AG and Güntner. With this we create an #impact for the group of companies, our #customers and the #environment. At the recent Delphi Economic Forum, our Managing Director, Stylianos Papageorgiou, shared invaluable perspectives on navigating new energy regulations in the shipping industry. Stylianos shared our groundbreaking approach as a catalyst propelling maritime innovation and sustainability through strategic collaboration with tech startups developing solutions for decarbonisation and innovation. Our key challenge is aligning these advancements with evolving regulations and industry standards.
