Monday Memories, the Manitou 280TJ set the benchmark when it was first launched in Australia in 2013, with innovative features such as a telescopic jib, X&Y movements, linear boom positioning, engine speed regulation, and of course a high-capacity basket. This machine has so many great features they struggled to fit them in this promotional video in 2013, and whilst the music and footage might seem dated the 280 TJ-X is still the reference in the Australian straight boom market. An investment in a Manitou TJ #MEWP is value, without the risk.
What would you expect to pay for all these features and performance?

Money to telescopic models offer key advantages. Accessibility, performance, efficiency. And simplicity. With a pivot mechanism you can work close to buildings. Its telescopic jib allows you to reach uncommon work areas, improving your productivity. 4 wheel drive, 3 steering modes, heavy duty oscillating axle, high ground clearance. TJ models are designed for all terrains. The TJ consumption, noise and speeds are optimized thanks to electronic management of the engine. Also associated with an unique system, the linear speed of the basket remains stable whatever its position, increasing efficiency. With up to 350 kilos, safe working loads, up to three persons and a large basket, the TJ range is an ideal tool for working at heights. Users and technicians are guided through tasks with an onboard screen. Easy diagnostics and default solving are enhanced, thus reducing downtime and cost. Choosing a money 2 telescopic boom means choosing the most efficient solution for your high access needs.

I saw an advertisement for a camera that is used to help you align your trailer hitch to your trailer receiver. It got me thinking what do most powerboat owners that trailer their boat use for this. I use my rear-view mirror in my truck when I'm backing up to my trailer. When I feel that I'm centered and close I put the truck in park, and I check. I adjust if necessary. If I'm close, I can move my trailer, so the receiver is over the trailer ball, and I lower the receiver. I saw several items that people use in addition to the camera, I saw 2 telescoping rods with magnets that attach to the trailer hitch and receiver. You back aligning these two rods. Let me know the method that you use. #powerboats
Just wrapping up a crane-wharf interaction study. CP&A performed a time-history analysis to study the interaction of a pair of STS container cranes with a wharf. All structures have a similar natural frequency.
The wharf is a simplified model that captures the first three modes of vibration. The wharf is modeled as a simple beam with a lot of springs attached to it. The STS cranes are constrained to the simplified wharf model. Keep an eye out we may post the animations for global lifting awareness day! #GLAD2024#Cranes#ContainerCranes
