We at voice of space have officially started a collaboration with the Kyiv Aviation Institute (KAI) to revitalize the Aviation Museum. This project is more than just a renovation. It’s about creating a space that will become a magnet for everyone passionate about innovation, aviation, and engineering. A place that inspires, educates, and shows the world that Ukraine is a nation of engineers shaping the future, whose dreams conquer the skies. ✈️ At voice of space, we design impact spaces. As I shared in the press release: "These spaces inspire, provide multisensory experiences, evoke emotions, and motivate positive change – both in individuals and society as a whole. We see immense potential in this collaboration with KAI, which will emphasize the university’s leadership as one of Ukraine’s top technological institutions." This isn’t just a museum. It’s a way to preserve our legacy, transform it into a source of inspiration for future generations, and most importantly, showcase Ukraine’s potential to the world. A very thoughtful piece by Julian Bajkowski Closing ranks to deflect was the brutish culture in play in the early days as #RoboDebt was exploding, at the same time #NDIS was launching with the #Nadia project. To protect the bureaucracy at all costs, and to deflect from the exploding #RoboDebt crisis, the #Nadia project was shutdown. The story told in the #Nadia book paints an intriguing timeline of decisions, actions and coincidences. https://lnkd.in/d6HkARST Closing ranks is a perverse culture of collective silence. It is a culture of deviance. As someone who was on the inside at the time working with the #NDIA, I was personally impacted by the brutish culture because I took a stand. I was told to choose between #DHS and #NDIA, and I chose #NDIA - not least because I have family with disability. But even with all my skills and experience, I was expendable, and for choosing #NDIA - for being disloyal to #DHS at this critical time (#RoboDebt) - it was said I would not work for government in Canberra again. I also believe that the toll this period took on me, also impacted Allan’s health resulting in his 4th heart surgery shortly after I left the #NDIA. This story is told in detail in the #Nadia book. The perverse “closing ranks” behaviour is a symptom of a culture of deviance. I would recommend people read the book “The Challenger Launch Decision” by Diane Vaughan. https://lnkd.in/dnavYNce Vaughan “…reveals how and why NASA insiders, when repeatedly faced with evidence that something was wrong, normalized the deviance so that it became acceptable to them…This powerful work explains why the Challenger tragedy must be reexamined and offers an unexpected warning about the hidden hazards of living in this technological age.” In my many writings, including in the #Nadia book, I examine how #Algorithms and #ADM are examples of such hazards in today’s technological era. By closing ranks - as evidenced by recent comments on LinkedIn and in the media - the APS as an institution chooses to ignore the warning signals. #RoboDebt (and #RoboNDIS) are not simply “projects” gone wrong. The unlawfulness once dealt with, does not make the hazard go away. And that is the challenge for public administration. A Look Back at Space Tech Expo Europe It’s been a week since Space Tech Expo Europe, and we’re still reflecting on the great moments and connections made during this event. One of the key highlights was the signing ceremony between DSI Aerospace and Frontgrade Technologies, marking a new chapter in our collaboration. This agreement solidifies our partnership to develop and distribute the SpaceStor™ 2TB Mass Memory Unit. The signing ceremony, held in the presence of Bremen’s Mayor Dr. Andreas Bovenschulte, Senator Kristina Vogt, and Dr. Walther Pelzer from the German Space Agency at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., underscored the importance of international cooperation in advancing space technology.
