A recent article on #StartupRiseEU - a platform that publishes news and stories from the startup scene - shared a post that featured me as a founder and the CEO of Moombix, or more precisely as "someone who has turned their passion into a business". First of all, many thanks for the kind words and the spotlight on Moombix in that article. That was thought-provoking and an interesting angle. Whereas I understand and appreciate the statement; music is a passion to most who practise it and a musician who became a music-tech developer is not so common. A slight shift of careers there. For me music is certainly a passion, but it’s more than that. It is a part of my identity inside and out, of my background and my upbringing. It is woven into my friendships and family life. However building something new is also a passion for me as for most entrepreneurs I believe. As an entrepreneur you are constantly using your creative mind to find solutions to problems, you are a stage director bringing people together and then you have to make sure that all the cells in the company are on fire, and that your people are motivated to bring in more ideas. Your team needs to be aligned and inspired to create with you something that has an impact, something great or even more than great and passion is the key to success, without it, no company thrives for long. I have on the other hand not been attentive enough about my music lately. I recently bumped into this playlist of mine on SoundCloud and thought of sharing it. It has all sorts of music with various purposes and no direction. Another channel with more vocal and live performances is under my name on YT. Here, however is my personal favourite from this collection -called Look South. Please listen with headphones if interested. 💕 #music #edtech #passion #moombix
