I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since we won our first Spiders Award! 😮 A colleague recently sent me this video from that night, and it was interesting to reflect on where I was then and how far the industry has come since 2014. I remember the night vividly. I was eight months pregnant with my first child, struggling to find a dress and shoes that I could bear to wear for 4 hours. I’d warned everyone that I wanted to be home and tucked up in bed by 10 pm—at the latest. Then, on the second last call of the night, we won "Best Large Agency of the Year." My 10 pm bedtime went out the window! Adrenaline kicked in as we crossed the Millennium Bridge to celebrate with the wider team. The shoes came off, and I toasted with a pint of sparkling water on the rocks. 😊 Now, 10 years, 16 awards, and two kids later, I still love working in digital. I thrive on the challenges, the problem-solving, and the ever-evolving nature of this field. Watching that video, it’s clear how much has changed—some organisations have come and gone, and technology has transformed drastically. But some core principles have stayed the same. Today, Together Digital is still going strong. Our secret? Staying focused on what truly brings value to our clients. Our tech stacks have evolved, the tools and platforms have shifted, and UX and design remain key to success. AI has joined the mix, helping clients to be more productive and more strategic with their marketing resources.
