Great talk with William Connolly who succinctly described 3 types of innovation: 1. I know what I want to do and I know how to do it 2. I know what I want to do and don’t know how to do it 3. I don’t yet know what I want to do and probably won’t know how to do it when I figure out what to do And the last is breakthrough innovation. 42 Technology #innovation London Packaging Week

Don't miss IoTAA’s Manufacturing Workstream's upcoming webinar on Tuesday, 10 September 2024. In 2020, a group of Plattform Industrie 4.0 participants operating in the automotive supply chain got together to form Catena-X with the goal to bring standardised and secure data exchange to the industry. The program was funded with €250 million by the German government and the industry invested another €1 billion over the past 4 years. With the first productive solution between BMW and Bosch up and running since November 2023, Catena-X is now moving into different industries and geographies. Peter Klement, Director, Sustainability Impact Platform, MIT Club of Germany and Managing Director at INOVIA Consulting will explain what Catena-X and the Manufacturing-X initiative are, how they will expand and how resilience and sustainability are built into global supply chains. You'll also learn how the concepts of Digital Twins and Data Space, as technology enablers, fit into the picture and how forward-thinking organisations are already using these concepts to become more sustainable, while at the same time gaining a competitive advantage. Date: Tuesday, 10 September 2024 Time: 4 pm AEST Format: presentation followed by Q&A Click here on the day to join: https://lnkd.in/gemP4wix
