There’s something about that Dubai Chocolate… Here’s my marketing perspective on why it’s so popular. 1. Scarcity In the beginning, it was hard to get. 2. Social status It’s the Birkin bag of desserts - luxury in every bite. 3. Instagrammability User-generated content even transformed its name. “Can’t Get Knafeh of It” -> “Dubai Chocolate” So why should you care? This isn’t just about chocolate. It’s about WHY we buy. We buy: - stories - promises - emotions And that is all about associations. P.S. Luxury, emotion, sharability - does your brand convey these?
📌 This is another story about branding. And this is not always about a product, company, or person. My favorite example of "branding" as an image is a red rose. The association around it is perfectly clear. Developed trough history, believes culture (and Hollywood).
📌 3 x YES for this chocolate. What about your brand? - Does it create a sense of exclusivity that makes people feel special for having it? - Does it deliver an experience so compelling that people can’t help but share it? - Does it make your customers the main character?
Maša, now I want to try this!
Delicious 🤤 ✨
In this case people buy because they don’t wanna be those that didn’t try yet. And for status -> high price, people wanna be a part of that crowd. Still haven’t tried it. How is it? Maša Vodalov
Deliver what you promise Become a reason. So, people can trust you
Maša, inspiring thoughts and amazing pic! Buying decisions are emotional that’s why trust and storytelling are so important.
