The third quarter brought mixed signals for the Canadian equity market. As we started July on a positive note backed by strong job growth and rising consumer confidence. However, as the quarter progressed, we encounter challenges, particularly from fluctuating commodity prices and ongoing economic uncertainties. While sectors like energy materials showed resilience in July and August, September introduced volatility as interest rate concerns resurfaced, affecting market performance. Our fund is strategically positioned across three main sectors. 32% in financials, 20% industrials and 17% in Energy. The Canadian Equity Income Fund, SUIZO performed well with a year to date return of 8.7% till the end of September. This can be attributed to our discipline strategy which focuses on identifying excellent companies that generate strong free cash flow. We prioritize those companies that are increasing their dividends, repurchasing shares and trading at attractive valuations. To help us allow to allow us to navigate the fluctuations in the market effectively. This reflects our commitment to delivering value and generating income for our investors. Looking ahead, we remain optimistic on the Canadian equity market. With continued rate cuts from the bank account A and signs of potential stabilization in the economy, we see many opportunities on the horizon. Our focus will continue to be an identifying quality companies with strong fundamentals and sustainable dividends. We're dedicating to maximizing returns for investors over the long term.
