“***We prefer working with AGENCIES rather than FREELANCERS***” 👉 This was a common theme in most of my discovery calls last week. The clients were exhausted having to chase freelancers & Yet not getting any QUALITY output. & Worst of all? Getting GHOSTED! 😥 While I believe it's all about the FIT – Freelancer or an Agency I've witnessed Agencies also ghosting clients  or trapping them with shady contracts. What's missing from both sides is  - **Empathy** - & A sense of **Partnership** Vendors must stop viewing clients as mere MONEY BAGS,  & share timely updates on the progress While Clients must articulate their expectations clearly from the get-go for a win-win scenario. The new "Success score" level system on Fiverr is terrible. Fiverr should make the level system easier instead of making it worse. #Fiverr should consider this demand from freelancers, otherwise, many professional freelancers will leave the platform soon. Sam makes a valuable observation. But the comments reveal that it's also a controversial one. Freelancers, which side of debate are you on? I'm in agreement with Sam that our rates encapsulate a lot of expenses that clients don't always consider when assessing value. In the US, you can expect to cut any gross pay by 20% to 30% to account for payroll and income taxes alone. Add the costs of health insurance and retirement benefits and you'll see your "take home" dwindle even more.
