Best SVT-AV1 Bitrate Control Technique for Live Streaming: I've written a detailed comparison of four bitrate control techniques for live encoding with the SVT-AV1 codec using Version 1.7 (VBR, constrained VBR, capped VBR, capped CRF). The downloadable report details: - Which delivers the lowest average bitrate - Which delivers the best average VMAF score - Which does the best job avoiding transient quality issues - Which one has the highest peak bitrates? - Which offers the best throughput The short answer is to consider VBR and Capped CRF (and not constrained VBR). Get all the answers and more on our blog. Plus, grab our detailed report. Read more 👉 https://lttr.ai/ATx1d #CappedCrf

[Valkka: Real-time Multiple IP Camera Streaming for Object Detection] Hello everyone! Doing object detection on a lot of IP cameras simultaneously, e.g. 15 IP cameras, may cause many problems. One of the many problems that commonly occur is a delay in the camera streaming. If you face that problem, you can check the medium story that I wrote below. https://lnkd.in/g2cGXVST

Disk streaming while resampling with NI Media NI Media might be my new favorite library loads files into plugins fairly quickly and thread safe from what I can tell. If you need to run analysis you can do it on a separate thread and cache your results somewhere with a hash of the audio file But loads audio instantly through the power of disk streaming. Quest for a perfect resampler is one paper that always kind of went of above me but found the source from the author adjusted for floating point values and skipped some functionality got a really great resampler out of it. #JUCE #NativeInstruments #OhmForce Check out the gist here ! https://lnkd.in/guusAJH4

The default collect method in Polars processes your data as a single batch, which means that all the data must fit into your available memory. If your data requires more memory than you have available, use the streaming mode to process it in batches. To use streaming mode, simply pass the streaming=True argument to the collect method. ⭐️ Bookmark this post: https://bit.ly/4dDGjrX #polars
