🇫🇷 Where is the money going for French FoodTech startups? We have just released our yearly report on the state of the French FoodTech ecosystem (add a comment if you'd like the link to the full report), and one of the most striking graphs is about the distribution of the money int terms of regions: As for the British FoodTech ecosystem (the most comparable in Europe), investments in French startups are heavily concentrated in the capital. It should be noted that investments are attributed to the headquarters. Now, leaders, even if their HQ is in Paris, are developing industrial capabilities in other regions (as HappyVore in the région Centre, or SWAP Food in the East), helping to spread the value created by these startups. 👉 Reply with a comment if you'd like the full report! #agtech #foodtech #france

Les niveaux ont encore baissé en 2024. Quid des répartitions par type d'activité? est-ce que le deeptech augmente par rapport aux services de livraison par exemple, qui devraient être plus matures.

I'd imagine if the tech is deployed successfully in the capital region, it will spread nationwide, no? Matthieu
