Exciting News! Mattiq has been awarded a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Phase II grant for "Rapid Discovery and Optimization of Unitized Reversible Fuel Cell Catalysts." Funded by the DOE, this grant will enable us to develop bi-functional electrocatalysts capable of operating in both "electrolyzer mode" and "fuel cell mode" within a single device. This significantly expands what is possible with electrochemical reactors, providing enhanced flexibility and functionality for hydrogen technologies—and beyond! This project builds on our ongoing qualification and commercialization efforts for low-iridium catalysts, supporting our mission to decarbonize the building blocks of our world.
