✨Convenience.✨ This is a word that defines many of our in-car digital features at #MercedesBenz. It’s our modus operandi and a great example of this is the introduction of smartphone-style widgets to the Mercedes me App. Now you can tailor the phone display to put the most regularly used functions and important information right where you need them. Here is an image of my iPhone to give you an example. On the home screen, you can choose to have a small or medium-sized widget – and they both work for ICE, hybrid and EV vehicles. The former simply shows the remaining range. It allows me to lock/unlock the doors, open/close the windows or sunroof, and turn on pre-conditioning, which is very useful on hot or cold days. Take it from me, having these functions at your fingertips makes everyday life so much easier.👍 #Userexperience #Digital

Rely On Your Phone For Navigation? If you're an iPhone fan about to upgrade, read this first! The latest iOS update is a month away and there are still some issues to iron out for the software's integration with Apple Carplay in vehicles. On the subject of Carplay, the big launch of version 2.0 (first announced by Apple two years ago) seems to have fallen flat, with only two manufacturers confirming they'll bother adopting it (at the time of typing). If you're not considering a Porsche or an Aston Martin, your next car might not get the latest Carplay. https://lnkd.in/gmuM6rjj
