🚨Delaware Employers – The Deadline to Privatize Paid Leave is Quickly Approaching...LET'S TALK! 👉 Starting 1.1.25, Delaware employers with 10 or more employees must begin collecting employer and/or employee contributions to fund the upcoming Paid Family & Medical Leave Program, with benefits becoming payable in 2026. 👉 By December 1, 2024, employers may apply to use an approved private insurance plan through Delaware LaborFirst, the DOL’s new online administrative system. Private insurance plan approval must be renewed on a yearly basis.
