Reflecting on Rebuild Ukraine Health 2024: Innovations and Collaborations in Healthcare I recently had the privilege of attending the ReBuild Ukraine: Health & Rehabilitation conference, and I'm inspired by the wealth of ideas and collaborations that emerged. The event showcased the resilience and forward-thinking mindset driving Ukraine's recovery and growth, particularly in the healthcare sector. Never before have I had tears at a conference. But not this time. At the intersection of emotions – I rejoice that we are in a niche aimed at real change in this world, but at the same time, it is not about business – it’s about pain and recovery. On one side, urban/district hospitals present their projects for investment, on the other – beautiful and traditionally bright stands of international equipment manufacturers, but medical equipment. New acquaintances with doctors, with Ukraine's medical ecosystem. I am impressed by the dreams, projects, and innovations that the Ukrainian medical world is preparing, understanding, and implementing. An unexpected pitch on camera for an American consortium that we initiated with Superhumans back in December – data in prosthetics. Potential development of a sensor that will allow us to track the progress of veterans' rehabilitation with prosthetics for 5+ months. Powerful. I'm excited about the potential projects and partnerships that can stem from these conversations. At VITA325, we're committed to leveraging AI and data to enhance healthcare outcomes. Collaborations with international experts will be instrumental in achieving our goals. Thank you to all the organizers, speakers, and participants for an enlightening experience. Together, we can build a healthier future for Ukraine and beyond. Let's keep the momentum going! 🚀 #RebuildUkraineHealth #HealthcareInnovation #AIinHealthcare #Prosthetics #Telemedicine #Collaboration #Vita325

🌟 A Personal Note on the Future of Healthcare Innovation 🌟 I'm incredibly excited to share my thoughts about the upcoming ARC APAC Summit 2025 in Melbourne. Having spent years in healthcare, I believe this event represents a pivotal moment for our region's healthcare transformation. Why This Summit Matters The convergence of over 40 global thought leaders isn't just another conference - it's a catalyst for real change. What truly excites me is the focus on practical innovation that addresses our unique Asia-Pacific challenges. The summit brings clinicians, data scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs together to tackle healthcare delivery challenges head-on. Beyond Traditional Conferences What sets this summit apart is its commitment to actionable outcomes. The program includes: - Hands-on experience with next-gen medical technologies - Interactive sessions on digital health implementation - Cross-disciplinary collaboration opportunities - Direct engagement with global innovation leaders The Sheba ARC Connection I'm particularly intrigued by the partnership between Sheba Medical Center's ARC innovation platform and Victorian healthcare institutions. This collaboration promises to bring world-class innovation methodologies to our doorstep, potentially transforming how we deliver care in Australia. Personal Takeaway Having attended numerous healthcare conferences, I believe that the ARC APAC Summit's approach to fostering internal collaboration while maintaining a clear vision for healthcare transformation is precisely what our region needs. The emphasis on practical innovation and real-world implementation sets it apart from theoretical discussions. I encourage all my colleagues—whether in clinical practice, research, technology, or policy—to consider participating in this transformative event. Let's be part of shaping healthcare's future in our region. #HealthcareInnovation #DigitalHealth #ARCAPAC2025 #FutureOfHealthcare #HealthTech

In the fight for a #sustainable future, it's easy to think all the answers will come from #STEMM. But engaging people in the #science by bringing disciplines together, is just as important. The University of Exeter #WeAreThePossible programme is a brilliant example of transdisciplinary success and engagement across borders. #arts #education #science #health #futurepositive #sciencesummit24
We're thrilled to celebrate #WeArethePossible, the international transdisciplinary programme connecting #science, #health, #education and the #arts which has been selected as finalist in the Science Engagement (Falling Walls Foundation) category of the #GlobalCall24! This brings them closer to the Science Breakthroughs of the Year, celebrated at the #FallingWalls #ScienceSummit24 from 7-9 November in Berlin. Last October 4th, Mariola Penadés, Director of Research and Innovation at Generalitat Valenciana, visited the ITACA Institute - Institute of Information and Communication Technologies Institute at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). This visit had the aim to explore the innovative work being done in the health sector, with a particular focus on Corify , spin-off company from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and Hospital Gregorio Marañón. During the visit, Andreu M. Climent Climent, CEO of Corify Care and researcher at ITACA, showcased the company’s cutting-edge technology for the diagnosis and prevention of cardiac arrhythmias. Corify Care is developing a non-invasive solution that aims to revolutionize how arrhythmias are detected, providing more accurate and faster diagnostics to improve patient outcomes. This is a prime example of how research at ITACA translates into real-world health applications. This collaboration underscores the importance of academic research in driving technological advancements that improve public health. #HealthcareInnovation #CardiacHealth #SpinOff #ArrhythmiaPrevention #UPV #CorifyCare #ITACA #ResearchAndDevelopment #GVA Source photo from UPV innovacion Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación UPV

👉 This was the first HIMSS meeting held in Mexico, and it was a great success. I am part of this global organization, along with many leaders in the healthcare sector, who are committed to transforming the industry through technology and the power of information. With VivaWell, we are playing an important role in Mexico in pursuing this transformation. The event provided insight into various aspects of the digital transformation processes that medical institutions are undertaking and how Artificial Intelligence is and will impact the sector. We discussed tools and public policies, as well as the involvement of universities and scientists contributing to the necessary technological innovation strategies. ▶️ And, of course, the experience of Healthtech solutions was shared, with my participation in a panel focused on Innovation, where I discussed VivaWell. I shared the panel with GONZALEZ, FLOR IMELDA from Scitum SCILabs TELMEX, Verónica Ríos Apolonio from HOSPITAL GENERAL DE MEXICO, Oscar Gonzalez from GNP Seguros, Javier Pico Guzmán from SocialDiabetes, SL, José Manuel Talero García from KeyZell, and it was moderated by Jesus Hernandez Camacho from the Asociación HealthTech México. This was my second participation—the first being at the Global Conference in Orlando—and I want to thank HIMSS for inviting me, especially Dr. Mariano Groiso, HIMSS Advisor for Latin America, for organizing an event that brings significant value to the industry, ultimately benefiting everyone. #Health #Healthtech #innovation #AI #HIMSS #Mexico #TEC
